plants are 18 days old Nd looking great they are in 5 gals of fox farm ocean forest and am noticing that some plants have one or two leaves that are starting to twist around them selves, I've heard this is usually oh imbalance but my soil is balanced at 7 and I always water at 6.2, 6.3 so I don't see that being a problem my tap water is very good and only has 90 ppms in it so maybe it's not getting enough cal mag? Any feedback would be appreciated

No expert but it looks like you may need to raise your light. My plants did this and it looked like the leaves were trying to hide from the light. I raised my light and it sorted itself out. Good luck!

Imo if your tap water is only 90ppm, I would add cal-mag to your feeding schedule. I don't think this is what is causing your curing issue, but just a note for the future.

My room stays between 75 and 81 religiously but the tops of the plants under the light are between 85 and 88 is that too big? The 1000 watt light is 2ft away from tops of plants

That's probably the fox farms ocean forest soil I don't even give them any nutrients for the first month cause the soils already hot as shit if you don't cut it
That could be why the leaves are twisting but never had that problem before anyone else having trouble creating a new journal

appreciate it, do you go full strength or by plant size or what
I use botanicare cal-mag at 2-4ml per gallon depending on plant size.

I use ocean forest all the time indoor and outdoor and never had it burn or hurt a single plant. It seems to have the perfect amount of nutrients for young vegging plants for the first few weeks.

Same here, a lot of people say it has too much but I've never had burns every once in a while the very tips of some fan leaves get a little minor burn but to me that's no harm just means there gettin enough and not too much, I've cut it with happy frog before and noticed no difference
