so i have been growing diesel ryder for about 5 weeks now they are starting to bud nicely. ive heard of people trimming leaves to get a better yield. i searched for a thread on this but was unsuccessful. ive heard that more light on the buds make better yield, but ive also heard that really the leaves capture much more energy then transfer that to the buds to help them grow. someone told me to cut all the leaves besides the large fans. any help or imput would be much appreciated. oh ya this is my first grow by the way.bongsmilie

if u trim anything u should trim what doesnt get sufficient light,so there iis more energy towards the top
if u want to top and all that stuff to get better yeild,u need to do it in veg

Most people tend to have the mindset of trimming fan leaves in hopes of letting the buds get more light. This is wrong. Let top of the canopy grow naturally, and like moash said, just worry about trimming lower branches and leaves. But don't do it in flowering or you could stunt your plant.
