Around 60-70f there is the possibility of it being too cold and the nutes wont uptake to the ends that are a little chilly. I recently ran into this , I was running my veg a little too cold because it was below zero out and I thought the 600w would be able to keep her warm enough but it didnt. I grabbed my foliar spray that I never used hardly and spray my tips really well...low and behold the very next day they were green again
edit: this was happening to only one specific strain

I haven't seen it get any lower than 70 at lights out. I'm growing in fox farm ocean forest soil, I could try to foilar the leaf tips tonight and see what happens, if it is just water with no nutrients is it okay to spray with lights on? I have just been using tap water, and haven't ph tested my water, I don't have any meter currently.

ok..that soil will feed for upto 4-6wks. So the tip is nute burned, but only slightly, its ok. No more feeding till it shows signs of needing it. Maybe in a couple weeks she might be ready

Really? I had no idea soil was meant to feed for a certain amount of weeks and then plants require nutrients. Thanks for the info Diabolical! And Grimdro I'd be glad to take a look at your thread if you'd provide me a link. However if you're seeking advice for sick plants I likely won't be able to help as I am still a newbie grower.

So this is my first grow, and in the past few days I've noticed a few things I was concerned with. I'm primarily concerned with the third picture, where the tips of the leaves seem to be dying/pointing downward slightly. I'm growing them under a 1000watt MH bulb, vegging (day 22) in a pvc tent lined with panda film on 18/6 and giving them Humboldt nutrients (5-9-4) in half the recommended amounts a bit less than once a week. When I got the plants I used a beethoven bomb to fumigate them and kill any pests that could have been from the previous breeders garden. I've now seen 2 gnats in total in my house, and did see one near one of the plants. Could this explain the first two pictures leaf damage? Also I included the last picture to show my plant about day 5 after fimming, did I miss my fuck I missed cut or is this how early growth from fimming should look? Any advice will be much appreciated, and I apologize in advance for any information I may have left out. If there is any further information I can provide or pictures to help with getting some answers. please do ask!
Gnats didnt do this. No i think it was caterpillars and you can find them on the plant with a cfl. I spray them with Carbaryl if it gets bad.
