What kind of nutrient deficiency would cause this kind of patchy discoloration?

i believe ph is somewhere between 6 and 7... which i know is high for a hydro setup. i only have a cheap aquarium ph test kit and it's not very accurate... it's difficult for me to make adjustments with any kind of confidence. i have a digital meter in the mail so that will help matters... i'm just crossing my fingers until then.

Try some seaweed/kelp extract.. looks like a nitrogen deffiecency from here.. but it can be a number of things added up.

Im having issues with a plant that inherited. it began in soil till about a month and half ago, i have a hydro system and didnt want soil in the room. So i transferred them into their own system, and began a micro nutrient cycle. but 3 days after transfer one has discolored leafs with dark spots on them. i dont know what the issue is. my ph level is between 5.5 and 6 always. pls help!
