Layover period between taking cuttings and flowering

I always thought that you could take cuttings from your finished plant, so as soon as you needed the room to start your cuttings the old plant was already out of there. Then I learned that you can't really take cuttings from a flowering/finishing plant, so you need to take them while the plant is still vegging. So what do you do with the cuttings for 2 months waiting for the room to be available to the new plant?

Ya keep 1 or 2 plants under 24/7 lighting and take cuttings from them. Ya could reveg a flowered plant and take cuttings. Ya can take cuttings from a flowering plant it just takes longer to root.
