Any thoughts on flushing and or leaving them in the dark for the last 3 days before the chop would be appreciated. I'm using H&G notes, RDWC, water chiller, CO2, (2) 2k watt 6" Magnum XXXL hoods with a 400W vertical bulb to supplement the Magnum's.

And this is in a 4'x4' area with FlashGro reflective material around 90% of the SCROG.

It looks like a miniature forest there are so many trees in here!

I think they need more than a week. They just don't have any of that really ripe look to me. I'd say 2 more weeks which is 9 full weeks. If I were you I'd keep it simple and do a flush a few days before chopping. I doubt that the extra dark either helps or hurts.

yea dude..ya can't go by time to get a good harvest..ya need a (atleast a pocket magnifying glass) microscope to see how far your buds are.

now here's where the controversy starts.

all i'm gonna say is..what works for you.

some say all trichs must be amber

some say trichs must be cloudy.

for me..i'm in the 50% amber,and 50% cloudy.

it works for me.


soo i'm tottally medicated,and everything is right in my world..lol

Any trich that is amber has degraded thc. The only reason to look for amber is because when it first appears in a few locations, that means you have let them get to the peak and it's all downhill from there. I usually harvest when they are mostly cloudy with a very few amber and some clear. There will always be some clear because they continue to form. But recently I did a harvest early with only about 50% cloudy, and I was blown away by the potency. More heady and less body, but awesome.

^^^^Remember this paragraph. Amber trichs = Foggy brain
by foggy brain ...i mean that in a sledge hammer just smacked me in the dome feeling. Good for night, but that's about it.
