Everything looks great, I wish I could run year round. What are your day and night temps if you don't mind me asking?
Today's high and low is 78F and 37F. But here are the average highs, lows, and rainfall for Tallahassee. {the closest town I could find}

December: 65F, 31F, 3.5 inches
January: 64F, 39F, 4.33 inches
February: 67F, 42F, 4.84 inches
March: 74F, 47F, 5.94 inches

We do have a night or two in the high teens or low 20's most years. But it rarely stays below freezing during the day.

These were blooming on November 7th, so Monday will be at least eight weeks. Must be getting close.

For about a month the Epson salt jug in the truck has been empty. I remembered to fill it this morning. Now if I could just remember to get the brown sugar out of the work freezer. . . . .DSCF2606.JPG DSCF2607.JPG

The 2 Big & Stinky X CP1's have started to show hairs. {I think both are girls, but one is for sure. A male wouldn't break my heart though} They stretched like hell this week. Well past knee high now.

Nice plants. I do winter crops in greenhouses out in the rainforest. I'll put some pics up on this thread when winter time comes around in Australia. Nice flower production on your plants.

Thanks. Post away when the time comes.

My partner is thinking about putting up a small greenhouse for his half of the seedlings.

I'm putting mine in a plot that was clear cut a couple three years ago. It's grown up in young oaks, pines and weeds. I'm putting them close to any green bush I can find.

I think the budding plants are Hurricane Head, but there is a chance it's Peach or Rotten Stinking Bastard. HH is Bag Seed Tester #2 male X Bag Seed Tester #1 female, while P and RSB are both BST2 X BST2. Both strains were pretty good producers, but BST1 had PM and BST2 had bud rot issues. I'm hoping that growing smaller plants in cooler weather will prevent a lot of those problems.

Are you seeding your best females? I think I have some winter crop photos on another memory card. This winter I'll be doing ghost train haze 1 ,blue dream, tangie, and black gum. Black gum is black domina x bubblegum. I have some winter crop females revegging out bush now. Will take a photo of them tomorrow. Will also try pineapple express this winter as well.

Yes, I'm planning to do some crosses. according to what kind of males I get. I was without good seeds for a while and I didn't like it. I was on the wagon for 11 years, and all my old seeds died in a tragic tripped breaker incident. I got a few seeds from my BIL and have grown them out two seasons. Not bad smoke, but not like the new strains I've picked up. Between those, the bag seeds I grew out this past year and the crosses, I am no longer without seeds. But seeds are like money, just because you have enough, that doesn't mean you wouldn't enjoy more.

Speaking of seeds and new strains, I've been hearing good things about the tangie. If you make any crosses with that, I'd like some. {please and thank you} But none of those are what you would call bad strains.

Sorry, I had confused you with some one else. {I must have been high at the time} Didn't mean to sound seed entitled. Not that I would be apposed to a trade, if you are so inclined

I took food and water to the flowering plants yesterday. These pictures were just before 3-4" of rain. Not sure how good looking they are today.

The 2 Big & Stinky X CP1's are still stretching. Both are female. I'm leaning toward dusting them with pollen from the Funky Leaf male I killed a while back. But I do still have plenty of Big & Stinky pollen, so I might double back. And the odds are there will be a couple of three Peach males when I get back there to check on them, so I could go in that direction too. Peach is Big & Stinky X BST2 FP#2.

Just planted some wild Thailand x Tangie sprouts. Will cross those seeds over each other and will cross a male of that over females of these strain's. gth1 , og18 ,blue cheese, holy grail kush, serious 6,, sour lemon og, ak49,money maker, big bud x white widow x blue dream, cheisel , thc bomb and a couple of local strain's. And a couple of auto x photo strain's I'm playing with auto berry and deimos. Will only try and get about 100 seeds off each cross. Pick 4 crosses and I'll push them your way in may Larry.

Thanks. Some good crosses there. It may take me to May to decide. When I get my males, I'll decide what crosses I'm doing. Let me know if you are interested in any of them.

The 2nd day of frost hurt the Peach plants pretty bad. I wasn't able to get to them to wash the frost off. Mine are much worse than the BIL's because his is under a tall tree. He is not getting as much light, but none of his were killed. I think about 4 of the 12 will be worth bothering with. I hate it, but now I know the young tender plants will not do well with 25F and heavy frost.

I do have pictures, but I left my camera. Will post on Monday night if I remember to bring it then.

I chopped the two older seed testers a couple days ago. The frost did touch up the top buds, but over all they handled it much better than the young ones.

The two Big & Stinky X CP1's looked pretty rough too. The top 6 inches or so was bent over.
