Large bust in my city!

guys i was watching the local news this morning and there was a rather large marijuana grow bust. it scares me because its in my home town. several hundred plants and some other specifics i dont feel like going into. i was wondering if anyone else has heard of a bust in their own home town recently.the reason i ask is because ive never really heard of this happening in my town befor and am wondering if this is just some freak occurance or if someone like myself is next . it really has me paranoid. i know its stupid concidering i only have six plants. but where do you draw the line? am i just as bad as the guys growing for profit ? all i know is growing is a lonley game. untill i heard about this bust as far as i knew i was the only grower in my city. kinda sad .

I draw the line at when you're growing more than you can possibly use for yourself and yourself only. When you begin growing for profit, you increase your maximum jail sentence if you're caught. I've heard of people in the sacramento and natomas areas with brand new houses devoted solely to growing weed. Then they end up screwing up the wiring when they steal electricity and the house turns into one giant bowl load.

yeah the problem is my city leans heavily towards the right.. this isnt california. people that dont understand marijuana wake up in the morning and see something like this on the news and they start a personal gihad against anything involving marijuana. its peices of shit like this bum that ruin it for everyone. they arent outstanding members of society. they are just lazy !! i work 60 hours a week just so i can come home and grow a few plants because its what i enjoy ! and because of crooks like this i have to hide my beautiful plants in the closet . it sickens me!

actullay their was a bust in my town in new york and the kid was growing a few plants himself (he was a dug dealer too and playing the drug game for someone else) and detectives went to his house and caught him, he was in jain for a bit but now he got out and just recently beat up his girldriend and he moved to a differnet part of new york and detectives are looking for him because of the beating up shit. so idk. kinda sucks getting busted so you have to be careful, we around here at least theirs madd detectives rollin in mostly black tahoes with weird liscen plates. theirs more to the story... but its a whole change

lol ^^^^ I live in a very quiet town and marijuana is smiled upon. All the cops will just take you're drugs whatever they may be and sell them. FUCKIN DIRTY COPS!

i dont know about that brother im not a cop but i work in a profesion where i get to see how police operations work behind the publics eyes. and most of them i talk too have no sense of humor and are all business. they dont understand marijuana, they dont want to, they want a bust. doesnt matter if they have to dig through your nasty three month old trash or stalk you at all hours of the day. they want that rush . they want to be able to go back to the station and brag about how they kicked in your door, threw you on the ground and took your plants. im scared man real scared!

na see. i live in a small town too. but the only people that honestly get caught in our town are the "gangsters" like for some reason if your not "gangster looking" you wont get a ticket for the possesion they would just take the shit.

lol i got in a fight with a cop(pig) when he was searching me for throwing my sock at him. It landed right in his face. He was fucking pissed. Lol fyi that tazer hurts like a bitch.

look this is my main point guys. sorry this is off topic but this whole thing got me thinking. i believe in cannabis. i believe in the future of this substance, i dont want marijuana to be refered to as a drug in 20 years. i think that if the law is willing to throw a prominent working member of your, my, or any community behind bars for growing a small number of plants that its a terrible waste. not only of valuable local resources, but of innocent minded farmers, you take i gentle grower and throw him in county lock up for a year. he comes out a "for real no shit felon". there is nothing we can do to battle this injustice! really im sick to my stomach
