Lambs Bread Breedings...

I havent really seen to many people breeding with lambs bread. Is there a reason for this or just choice? I have some LB and wanted to try breeding it. I didnt get it from seeds of anybody. This was a clone given to me from a friend who has had it for over 15 years and he got is from a guy who had the real original strain. I have had it for a little while now and it is one of my favorites. So what do you think of breeding it and to what? I still would have to get some seeds to get a male as all of mine are female. I have more questions since I have never bred before but one at a time for now.LOL Thank you for your help in advance.

I have 4 seedlings going of colombian gold x Lambsbread. This is basically what I started out with in the late 60's although seperate strains which I crossed and grew for over 30 years. Great strain to work with IMO, long flowering times but since you already grow the female you are aware of that part. I believe most of the growers today just don't want to deal with the flower times of 18 weeks. Personally for the high it delivers I would wait 30 weeks.
If you want a little project of these two strains they do make a great combination......I got my seeds at sannies. My genetics were stolen so I am starting all over again from scratch. Lambsbread will also lend itself well to many of these hybrids around today if you want to bring more sativa to it. Just my liking I wouldn't cross my female with it but I would use a Lambsbread male to a female but that is just me.

Sweet if you set up a journal or already have I would love to watch your grow. .. I grow landrace sativas, mainly mex and columbian but I also have a couple jamaican

In my opinion most people don't mess with really strong sativas because they are generally low odor and fluffy or even stringy causing horrible bag appeal. They can also be a pain to grow I've always wanted to try crossing with a good pure indica, see what would happen

https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/300196-my-beutiful-ladies-bringin-me.html This was my first grow back in 2010 if you see the last picture shows a good look on the lambs bread i have. I agree they smoke like a dream but are a little to fluffy not to stringy as some haze i have seen but only real smokers know lambs bread most of the time. I only keep a little of the lambs bread just because I dont want to loose the strain but most of mine are indicas. I have Northern Lights, Purple hash plant,Blueberry Hash plant,Northern Lights x Blueberry Sativa. They all serve there purpose for sleeping or anxiety and so on.

Screw bag appeal, lol. Nothing like the true sativas for enjoyment, in whatever you are doing. I got mine from USC seeds out of sannie's I haven't had anything that was as promised so I am excited about seeing what comes up and how they breed. Looking for the phenos in future generations should prove interesting.
