I had to leave, with little time to prepare on a road trip west. I have been gone from Monday morning and wont be home until late Sunday night. I put my baby WW in a large plastic chest which I stood vertically. I placed a 40W cfl about 5 inches above it, set up a bootleg drip irrigation system (copied the way a watering globe works and made one using a straw, plastic water bottle and hot glue), and placed a bowl of water in the box as a way to possibly keep some sort of humidity. The lights on an 18 hr on timer, their is no ventilation into the box though which is my primary concern. The box is in a garage, which is kept around 55 degrees with the current weather. What are your thoughts??:weed:tell me something good

No ventilation in the box?

Picture yourself stuck in a box of equal proportion, after 6 days would you still have fresh air to breathe in?

That's a pretty big concern. Nothing you can do now though. It does sound like this plant is really small, especially to only have 1 40w on it.

Very young. Started paper towel germination on 12-20-08. At this point its no more than a few inches tall with a few first non-cotyledon leaves

Just got back.. My area had some of the coldest temps while i was gone. Garage must have gotten pretty cold. Plant is alive!!! No sign of any damage from heat or lack of water. Water bottle did its job perfectly...Plant hardly grew in the week I was away, I attribute this to stunted growth due to the cold temperatures.
