I forget what they are called but they have both light spectrums For flowering and budding. Horiculture or something If its important I will go and try and find the box

were the plants healthy and strong? what was the temp/humidity like? how often did you water with how much nutes? so many factors...hard to tell.

I have an HPS that was designed to produce more of the blue light waves but it doesn't have a dual arc design just different type of gas. Where do you find those? Got a link? Sounds kinda cool. I've seen hoods that you can put both the MH and HPS in.....

you need more phosphorous, thats the problem, more light will not give you more crystals

i'd also recommend using bacteria, fungus, and root excellorant

yes thats more stuff to put but the outcome yeilds considerably more than just adding more hot hps lights

So it's as easy as adding more Phosphorous? I find that hard to believe. If he's groing outdoors it's obviously not his first time. I'm sure he has a nute schedule he would be following. Any one whose grown a plant knows in flower to reduce N and up the K and P but I've never read anything about giving them more phosphorous. I guess I've been missing out on bumper crops with tons more crystals.:wall:

I just checked and it is a sun argo bulb I think the problem was because I wasn't consistant on my nutriants My ph was a little high not much and the temp was around 84, Humidity was 35. I have adjusted all. Good ph, shut 1 bulb off so temp is around 75 and humidity is around 50. Hopefully will get better results. I was just wondering if one thing being out of wack would make the differance. I picked when amber so it wasn't picked early. Plant were also looking unhealthy by this time with leaves being dead and crumbly and that started earlier

well since i don't know what im talking about because i have a low number of post which reflects how much i know about growing cannabis, i'll post a quote and a link that explains what P in NPK does...

"
Phosphorus (P) – mobile
Practical Stuff: Cannabis uses highest levels of phosphorus during the germination, seedling, cloning and flowering. "Super Bloom" fertilizers designed for flowering have high levels of phosphorus.

Technical Stuff: Phosphorus is necessary for photosynthesis and provides a mechanism for energy transfer within the plant. Phosphorus, a component of DNA, many enzymes and proteins, is associated with overall vigor as well as resin and seed production. Highest concentrations of phosphorus are found in root growing tips, growing shoots and vascular tissue.

Deficiency: A lack of phosphorous causes stunted growth. Leaves are smaller, bluish-green and often with blotches. . . . See Indoor Marijuana Horticulture, the Indoor Bible"

for those who don't know what "resin" is, resin is crystals, those pearly white things that are on leaves closes to buds :-P
