Labor Day

Hey, RIU. Whatcha got going for Labor Day? Sleeping in? BBQ with friends and family? Or just Netflix and Chinese food? I'm coming off a long weekend, gigs for 3 days in a row. People LOVE to get married on a long holiday weekend. I'm planning to sleep in, wake and bake, then go for a long bike ride with an old gf. I'll probably go to a bbq with her and some of her musician friends afterward, if I'm lucky I'll end up banging her or one of her friends. Should be fun, let's hear what you got going on the unofficial last day of summer...

How many times did you play brown eyed girl?

I'll be helping a buddy of mine at his bar for funzies.
Tapping kegs and getting bikers and 20 somethings nice and toasted.
I'll make a nice little chunk of change. When I do holiday stuff for him I average 45-50 bucks an hour.
And I never fail to get at least 1 number for the night. That's low balling it.
Then I'm Netflix and chilling with my girl and grilling these 2 inch thick salmon fillets I've had marinating since Saturday morning.

Me too!!!! Only a couple hours..

I'm going to Lowe's to look for a new grill and patio furniture. Finished patio last month but waited till now to get stuff on sale.

I have to take the tractor and feed wagon down the road later to pick up more silage for my cows. Other than that not much else going on, wife works today and the kid starts back up school tomorrow.

This will be Uncle Bucks 1st Labor day laboring as a dad, makes it kinda of special.

Here is to Labor! ..and paydays!

Guess I'll just be packing bowls today.

Spend the day watching youtube videos. Made a nice chicken piccata yesterday...that'll be dinner. No big whoop.

Getting ready for a car show, then bucks bbq

My folks have been visiting for a month and half. They're going home tomorrow. It's mixed emotions. I'm gonna spend the afternoon packing their car. Then we're going out for a goodbye dinner. Tomorrow starts the busy season at work again.

Salmon for the BBQ today, or if I get lazy I'll roast it.

Fuck holidays. Its time to gather at someones else house.

So what if I used it the other day? I can still feel it.

I found my 40 yr old fav last week.
Its made of some kind of fancy foreign hard wood.
It still works fine. We part ways, for years sometimes, but
like a old friend they show up unannounced, stick around for a spell and slip into the future
only to be stumbled over just anytime or sometimes at just the right time.

Just doin shots and house work. Got a lot of watering to do. Clean the fish tank filter. Finish dehydrating peppers. Deliver some clones. Could have done this yesterday but i fished all day instead.

I'm guna give myself a stranger...feed my Fucks ....water my tomatoes and then BBQ some steaks for the family.
