Labeled Flowering Period vs. Actual Flowering Period

ive got a plant that is supposed to flower in 70-80 days but its been 47 and it looks like itll be done in less than 2 weeks.

anybody else have different flowering periods than what the package says? if so what did it say and how long did it take?

plants are pretty reliable when bred well, cannabis being no exception it's pretty predictable too. Just how ready does your plant look? Maybe the buds look great but need to mature in ways you can't see, give them their time and I'm sure you will have a great smoke.

Got any pictures?

maybe they will be good in 2 weeks, but amazing awesome monsters in the time specified
the most common mistake made is to cut too early, most experienced growers tell you that the buds double in size in the last 2 weeks or so

Have you gone through a second explosion of pistils yet? A lot of ppl are over looking the second spurt in flowering, and pulling their plants FAR too soon! How are ya trichs lookin? Are ya basing them being close to ready on hair color, or what is yer basis?

i was wondering if they do have a second spurt. the plant is becoming slowly darker. the leaves on the bud sites are begining to curl up. the colas are very dense and thick. the trichs look pretty good. still clear not cloudy yet. but since its my first harvest im learning as i go along. even though ive done more research than most ppl do before they grow. its one of thouse things you just have to learn first hand.

sorry no pics... im waiting till i harvest them till i take any (grow room is obscure).

There ya go right there! Yer trichs arent even a little cloudy? Ya still got a while, brah! Mine are about 10% cloudy, I still got 2-3 weeks!

you do not want to chop early, your shit will be shit. youll reduce the size strength and tricrome production, thus ruining the plant....wait the plants are supposed to go through a huge change in flowering. wait it out. itll be worth it.
