Day 47

All is looking great. Did some feeding today with 1/4 nutes. Temps been consistent at 80 degrees +/- 2 degrees. Humidity has been crazy. It been as low as 50% and as high as 72%. I'm gonna attribute this to the weather. Its been rainy the sunny then rainy. You get the idea. pH has been stable at 6.1

so u started 1/8 strength grow nutes at around week 3 i guess? And the floor is 2x4 metres? i think ive got about 1 x 0.5 meters floor space lol so i wont have the same luxury as you, but im hoping to get at least 3 nice size auto plants in there

808, your plants are looking fantastic. My La Musa doesn't look as good and I suspect it's because I am shutting the lights down after 12 hours.

Quickly converting a metre to about 3 feet, I would say that 2 max is the most you should do in that space. My closet dimensions are 4.5 feet by 2.5 feet and I have 4 plants going and I don't feel like they have enough room and are getting in each others way. I am fine on width, it is depth. The 2.5 feet depth is really limiting.

hmm yeah i am worried about space with 3 plants but im gonna try lst them and also use mesh to train the bud sites at eaqual distance from each other....but ive never tried either technique so its all gonna b a learning curve. ill b starting in about 2 weeks if all gos to plan :) thanks for the info :)

Well that makes sense. I am not doing any sort of training and I topped 3 of my plants, so I have bushy plants going on. I hope you start a thread and post your progress. I'd like to follow along...

Sup guys. Yes im using a 2x4 space. With five plants its really tight. Id say three would have been ideal. I did start with 1/8 nutes at week 2 i believe. I moved to 1/4 nutes at week three. Stayed at 1/4 the whole way. It seems to be perfect for them. Used plaine pH stable water about every four feedings. The small amount of nutes being used allows u too feed more often. Thanks for all the comments. Hope i answered all your questions. Im having a great time growing this strain. Im sure you will too.

Yea man, I am definitely, if I grow in my closet for the next run, doing 3 max but probably 2. I will likely get a 48x48x78 tent though which will give me plenty of space to work as well.

4x4 tent will be nice man. I was gonna go with that size as well but figured it would be too big for the area i had in mind. Now that i have a 2x4 instead im wishing i went with the bigger one. But ive been recently thinking about picking up another 2x4 for a seperate veg and flower room.... thinking about doing a sog in the near future. Gonna need a mother and some clones so that will help.

I've seen a number of tents at that 4 x 4 range with varying height on Amazon priced anywhere from $80 to $100 which is about 50% of what the two hydro/gardening stores in my area wanted to charge, which is why I am likely going to go that route.

I think I have stabilized my PPM issues and the PH levels seem to not be moving much. I definitely have some leaves on all 4 plants that have shown some burn and all 4 are drinking a lot more than they are eating. I plan on dialing back the nutes on the next res change.

La Musa is looking frosty as hell, especially on the main cola. The pistils aren't turning reddish brown on the main two stems but are on the side stems. Not sure what to take away from that, if anything.

Burn or Magnesium deficiencie?
From what I have heard. They go into flower and quickly into magnesium defiency with FFoF and look like shit but recover nicely with added magnesium at every watering

It's tough to say ChesusRice. The leaf discoloration stated when my PPM was jumping up ridiculously so my thinking is that it may have been burn. Now that I have the PPM seemingly under control, if I notice additional leaf discoloration, then it is likely a calcium or magnesium deficiency.

I'm really happy with my HydroHut Silver Edition 4x2 tent, it actually measures out to 55" x 28" x 78" tall, so it's really 4.5 x 2.5 x 6.5 feet tall and I've gotten away with 6 plants at one time when I was "new" to growing. I just couldn't do the 4x4 without ditching my computer desk....that means no more porno...I mean RIU, excuse me. Anyway the frame on the HydroHut series is awesome for rigidity. I can hang 2 - 14lb LED's and a 160CFM fan and carbon filter from inside it without worry. It has tons of options as far as light proof vent apertures all around it as well as semicircular velcro'ed vents with bug screens on all for sides. The main door has a big blue zipper that is really durable...needs a little steering around the 90° turns but I would think my camping tent would be trash by now the number of times I've opened/closed it. The silver lining inside reflects light really well and holds up the rubbing alcohol I use between grows to disinfect and clean off the resin. It has a sub floor for hydro....I've never spilled much in there but it provides a nice comfort zone for hempy buckets like I use. I paid a little over $200 bucks but would get another in a heartbeat if this one wears out.
