O.k so I got three plants here. They are Northern Lights seedlings and have been vegging under a T5 for about 10 weeks.(pic1) All will be bent but this will be the pics of only the first bend as I think you will get the point from one.

First my simple tools: I use nylon string, so to protect the plant from getting cut the short pieces of plastic tubbing are great! The screws will be drilled into the buckets to give me tie spots.(pic2-3)

Next is very important: The "counter tie". This is to assure that when I make the final bend the plant does'nt get pulled from the soil. Also once the plant gets the big ole buds it gives extra support. Trust when I tell you, IT IS NECESSARY. Bending a plant this mature (about 30") needs the counter tie.(pic4-6)

After the first tie is made I start the bend. Plants this large are not just going to bend over. Gotta do it a little bit at a time. I grab them about mid way up(15") and bend just a little bit. Then I go smoke two bowls. Then I come back and make her bend a little more. Three or four of these rounds and I'm good and stoned and the plant is bent! When I get her top below her center branches, I tie the top and center to the bucket screws using mentioned plastic hose.(pics7-8)

Now these ladies will go from 30" to 18" and be ready for another 2-3 weeks in the veg room before going into the flower area. (1000w aircooled) This will cause the plants hormones to change and she will confuse all branches for top buds thus putting equal effort into each. Awesome to watch! Wanna see it? Keep an eye and I'll post the progress. Heres one I bent over twelve hours ago. As you can see she has already recovered from her L.S.T and started pointing all bud sites towards the light.(pics9-15)

This simple method results in short bushy compact plants with lots of bud. 4-6 ounces will be the yield and if interest is expressed I will keep you updated as to this specific strain. Questions and comments are always welcome. I'm open minded and would love to hear others views and opinions. IMO Much Love.
