I was wondering if 4 of those chinese 180w led ufo's (fleebay) would be over kill in a 5x5 tent in regards to light intensity??? i was researching a little bit and found out that they only use about 110w-/+ of true wattage... I know l.e.d. lighting gives off little heat but i was also wondering if having 4 180's in a 5x5 would cause temperature problems... all info is highly appreciated and I thank you RIU'ers for your time... HAPPY GROWING!!!

is there anyone out there that can give me some info on this???

I had (2) 240W LED and a 324W T5 in a 5'x5' and had great results. You would have no heat issues with the (4) 180 LED's but obviously an exhaust is a requirement to get that stale air moved out. After many many many hours of LED research I would actually recommend something similar to what I did and bring in a nice 6 3000k bulb T5 and run it in the middle of 2 larger LED's. You are getting more coverage per $ and adding different a spectrum of flowering that most fleebay LED simply cannot match.

I don't recommend that light at all....no it is not overkill in fact you want more light than what you get out of those...you should have no temp issues with LED. Check out the LED section if your interested on getting some info on LEDs and what light(s) would be best for your setup. Try and stay away from the junk they sell on ebay.
