L.A. Missile Launch

Well some people actually saw the light emission from the object. Not just the trail (i am reading more now). I see so many trails (that don't dissipate for some reason) that I probably would have thought "plane" as well. Seeing the video, and knowing even the barest of circumstances I can't swallow the plane story.

I should say, unless i'm looking at something with a view that it may not be as it appears, or i am specifically looking for something, if i saw a contrail or missile exhaust 35 miles out to see and had no reason to scrutinise it, i'd have ust ignored it as a plane.

As ti the single video, can't really say but well, i don't take video's of something unless i am recording it for a specific reason, that is to say again, if i had just seen a random contrail/exhaust 35 miles out to sea, i'd have most likely ignored it, certainly wouldn't have thought to video it, whereas a news copter will shoot at anything that might be worthy of broadcast or a story.

Plus the governemnt said there was no security threat, how can they claim no threat when they acn't give a piece of information with what it is let alone who it came from. Plane my arse.

so why do I have a folder on my comp of pics of the sky in MY backyard? just because YOU wouldn't take a pic doesn't mean neither would the rest of LA. EVERYBODY carries a camera these days.

there is no way to defend the fact that there is only ONE clip of this.

i'm not debating what it was, i just wanna know why there is only one video. it makes no sense.

so all these people saw it, yet not ONE of them took a pic? must have been pretty unusual, eh?

how can you logically defend the fact that NO ONE else took a single pic?
Here we go...dude, seriously. Read some fucking articles about it...LOCAL articles or even clips from the local news. People saw it.

As far as the photo/video record goes no one else has produced a shot or clip. So it is, yes, an assumption that he "was the only one." So sorry to offend your sensitive, logic. I forget that so many here are trying to prove something and love just talk shit and call people out on the minor shit that doesnt really matter.

Because the guy was in a helicopter and watched the whole thing with a camera in his hands...and he works for a news company...not many people have that kind of access.

where do i ever say no one else saw it? i'm not doubting anything.

i am simply saying it is really odd that there is only one clip.

i have no idea why you have suddenly become so irate. is there something you'd like to share?

You would think their would be other pictures or video, especialy after all the publicty this one got, anyone who was at the beach or on a boat that day would be looking through their pix for this. I think it's a weird story and it freaked me out but I do find it kind of weird their arent more pictures or whitness acounts from diffrent angles

If you can see it you have the choice of filming it. Just because you have a camer does not mean you WOULD film it, just that you could. Hell, personally i wouldn't have bothered filming it as i'd have asusumed someone else is. Bystander apathy and whatnot.

I am wondering where I said "everyone saw it"...I don't see my words saying that anywhere.

There's only one clip because it was a fluke shot...basically right place, right time. Considering he was probably already filming before he even saw it eliminates a lot of suspicion in my book (especially considering the half-assed govt attempt to explain this). Many people saw the "thing" blazing a trail in the sky across the northwest part of LA county, and given what appears to be the nearly vertical trajectory people on the ground probably lost the capability to film the object in any detail rather swiftly. Additionally, the fact that there is so goddamn much air traffic here probably gives most people a sense of false security that any object up in the sky belongs there, and wouldn't think much of it. The video captured is priceless, it caught something it wasn't supposed to.

And now I am seeing that there is another video captured of it...it's not just one clip. Personally, I think the second clip is better cause it clearly shows illumination from combustion of some kind...

I get pissed because people comment on things that they don't know about, like saying "only one person saw it"....which in entirely untrue. I live here, I saw the stories on the news, people talking about it...it wasn't just one person. Then that person twists my words to try and cover up their bullshit and make themselves look better. Just admit you asserted something that isn't true. How hard is it to be honest and humble? That's what pisses me off, people here trying to be some wannabe logician when they cant even keep track of the things that they say.

the whole point is when your talking about a state with 50 million people in it, someone would have chose to capture it on film and now they would realize oh shit i can get alot of money for this video!

The first link was good with the news clip, it shows two diffrent points of view. I hadn't seen that and wondered why some people wouldn't have had it on their Iphones, the vid from the second link? I wonder if that was the same thing? looks diffrent with a diffrent flight pattern to me
