2 Pineapple Dog Shit..1 Alaskan Thunderfuck & 1 White Widow. I'm currently vegging under 4 23w CFL's. Trying to raise some $$$ for my 400W ballast and run a Metal halide soon. Flowering under 400W eye hortilux HPS right now. Peace.:peace:

You going to run the halide and Hortilux together? I would. I have a 400w HPS with three ladies under it but am thinking of adding a 400w MH into the mix, I know HPS has the main spectrum needed for flowering but it's better to have both.

You know I was just planning to use the MH for Veg. I havent heard of any growers using both spectrums during flower. Is that optimal for bud growth? Growers??? LEt me get your 2 cents. If so, I would probably do both. I'm going for potency not yield here so I'll do what is needed.

Yes both can be used,,, yur just putting more light down field, also heat is anothier factor to think about... The temps will rise more with the mh than the hps...both running is, well that much more heat!!! If that can be controlled than hell do it... Earl' and the space shuttle, had both on his... He had like "not sure" but were talking like 1750+ pointed at one plant and cfl's, she was a crazy big' monster bitch... A must read.""""

That makes sense about it being a monster, I think the MH encourages it to grow more than the HPS which is mostly to encourage flowering, so I would guess that you will get more growth which should mean more flowering.

I don't know how much difference it makes to the yield or potency but you will certainly get tighter buds which is always a good thing and will improve your net weight. not sure that tighter buds imrpove the strength, that is usually more down to genetics but if tighter buds means more trics per square inch then it's possible.

Girls are looking good. Buds arent as big as I would have hoped @ this point but sticky like a mofo. I'm hoping these next few weeks they will start to boom.

Thanks Everyone. I just got my 400 Watt Metal Halide today !! Finally...It's got the ballast built in but its got the nice thick glass under the light. I'll post some pics later. I'm going to be using it to Veg my new clones for now and just leave my flowering girls under the HPS only.

Also I took a trip to the Humboldt Patients Resource clinic in Arcata earlier this week. 14 hour drive to get some amazing meds and 1 very special Clone !!! HEADBAND !!!! OG KUSH X SOUR DIESEL !!! She's going to be my first mother and I'm going to clone the hell out of her !!! I'm going to have DB give me some cloning lessons soon. I got the tray with the dome today so I'm set.

Here's a pic of the LA Confidential I'm smoking on now. Has a skunky Blueberry Taste and is SOOOOOO PURPLE !!! Peace.

maybe u could Pm and we could talk about sumthings,that is if u live around that area.things looking good btw

Sorry Brother. I'm no longer in the SoCal area (used to live in Burbank) I used to party @ the MAsterdome in Pomona...lmfao..anyways. I'm up in Oregon now. Thanks for the kind words on the plants. I just got my 400 Watt Metal Halide setup so my grow side is on point now. Going to do a whole run of Headband for my next Project. Peace :peace::joint::peace:

DAY 36 since moving to 12/12. Buds are starting to fill in. Very sticky and stinky!! Threw in a couple pics of my new girls. Headband is on the back row in the middle. And a pic of my 7 foot outdoor Bush. She just started showing pistils but no budding yet. Peace

I believe this is some Apple Juice Burn...thx DB...lol
