Kurt Cobain

Just because it's an irrational/paranoid conspiracy theory does not mean it's political.

Try Toke 'n' Talk.

Who the f**k are you? The official debate mediator? I don't see anything political at all on this brain dead thread. I felt like discussing Kurt, you got a problem with that? I guess talking about him playing triangles in jazz trios was stimulating political discourse? What exactly was irrational or paranoid about starting a conversation or asking a question? F***ing condescending prick. Why don't you start a political discussion with me and we'll see who's irrational or paranoid? And yes, we can do it on toke 'n talk since you have a stick up your ass about the forum. Next...
WOW! When these Cobain fans get their knickers in a knot, they really get upset, don't they? Damn! I'd discuss politics with you aquanaut ... but I'm afraid to.

You're voting for McCain/Palin, right? bongsmilie

Kurt Cobain really didn't have any political stance, so he would be no threat to the government.
Now I have to agree that Kurt Cobain may have been murdered, having seen the Autopsy photos, there was no damage to the fingers or toes (as he would have to pull the trigger of the shotgun some how) and the kick of the shot gun would have ripped either his fingers or toes off had he turned the gun on himself.

BTW the FBI always investigates when a celebrity dies.

And no I wouldn't put it past Cortney Love.
It just goes to show that even a scumbag like Cortney Love can pay off people.

And No I don't hate Kurt Cobain, I have all his albums (CDs) including a whole lot of bootleg albums.
I don't know what shotguns you have shot, but none of the ones I've ever shot kick hard enough to rip your digits off...

Look, I'm not gay for Kurt or anything. I don't spend a whole lot of time sitting around listening to Nirvana cd's in 2008. Even though they're great. I just have an interest in eccentric, tragic artists of any medium. They're fascinating people. Plus, tell me one rock star since Kurt's death to have an impact on American culture in the same way. Who? Marilyn Manson after Columbine? You don't have to like Kurt. It's history. Just like people still talk about Elvis and John Lennon. And yes, Nirvana was an extremely political band. I don't care if it's old. As a rule, comment if you're interested, ok? If you're not, just shut the f**k up and move on. It's not that serious.
I get pissed because I've been on so many sites talking about all kinds of subject matter and all anybody seems to want to do is diss each other and call each other dumb and try to pull rank. It's beginning to feel pretty pointless. I get better conversation at the Medical Kush Beach Club lounge. I figured on a weed, rock 'n roll, political forum, I could find some decent conversation to buzz on. Instead I ended up back in high school. So, peace, I'm out.. Good riddance, bitches...

In that case, you really need to check out Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell and Billie Holiday. They were eccentric, tragic and as an added bonus, they were really great, mind-boggling musicians. :blsmoke:

Kurt said he wasn't suicidal to many people in the weeks prior to his death, including the Seatle police, a doctor that treated him in rome, the people at the Exodus rehab center in L.A, his lawyer , and many friends including his best friend Dylan Carlson who bought him the shotgun on March 30th. Kurt told dylan he was afraid of intruders at the house.
