Oaksterdam Kryptonite is "The Purps' x Killer Queen". Definitely a few different "Kryptonites" out there. Regardless, I can tell you first hand that this one is a wonderful plant. Finishes nice and fruity, light purple. hot hot hot. im happy to see that oasksterdam is working a kryptonite strain. i thought kryptonite was only from bagseed for a while there since i couldnt find it at any banks. i havent had any kryptonite for maybe 3 years. ive been wanting to visit oaksterdam and check out the scene. moving there and growing is not an option right now because i know how saturated the market is over there. good to see what theyre working on thanks.

I think what you are talking about is Krytonite OG - but I don't live in NoCal, so I may be talking out of my ass here. The Krytonite Genetics people don't actually have any Kryp. Kryp Walk, AKA Krytonite as far as I have known for almost ten years is a clone only strain. I just picked up a clone of it while I was in Detroit, I also got LA Confidential and Strawberry Cough. Yeah, wow, what a nice drive down to Detroit...

There are a number of fake seed company websites advertising a version of Kryptonite, its funny, because the description was copied and pasted from a strain review site. All those fakies are talking about Krytonite as a Pure Indica, but the one I got is mos def a hybrid, mostly sativa. the characteristic that I can see already is that it is BRIGHT BRIGHT green, and that's how I remember the finished bud being, bright green and chalk full of crystals. I happened to get this clone from my x-wife who hates me and would never want me to grow the same strain as she does because my finished product would be so much more proper than what she could pull off, even on an easy hybrid like Kryp Walk.... I've been a breeder/grower organic farmer for 25 years so I always hold on to those clone only strains. I currently have Apollo 13 (Brothers Grimm) Clone Only, G13 Clone Only, and now Kryp Walk/Krytonite.... If those seeds came from a clone only strain, and you don't know how they got there, throw them in the weed garbage and forget about em. Here is my newly acquired Kryppy:

yeah man, that's what I have always seen with kryppy.... When the buds come out, you see more Indica looking traits - dense nugs, huge colas, and more rounder looking leaves, especially the sugar leaves....

I don't doubt it is a cross between OGK and SD = I just can't say that the growth pattern of the plant resembles either of those two strains.

A lot of seed co. sell kryptonite... og kush x unknown kush male... this may very well be what this is... the clone has been floating around detroit since 07 or before.... its super dank, I just threw it in the tent last night... it'll be in the journal for Crop 5 in my med card grows...
