Kosher Tangie & Blue Rhino

After 24 hours the KT cracked first and I'm still waiting on the BR. I'm going to leave them another 24 and see what happens, fingers crossed. Cleaned out my veg tent and got it all ready. Going to put them in rockwool cubes and run dwc setup in 5 gallon buckets. They will be vegged under beautiful T5's and later moved to my flower box to grow into a scrog under 600w MH/HPS with advanced nutrients.

48 hours and only the KT cracked. The BR hasn't yet, but I placed both in rockwool cubes and in their netpots. Sent attitude an email asking them to send another, never had to do that before and not sure if they will. I can't remember a seed holding out longer than 2 days to crack, and becoming a nice plant, but not giving up on her yet. Anybody familiar with what attitude's policy is on no good seeds? 1926753_599527976803881_168564892_n.jpg

I'm feeling really confident in the KT seedling on the right. It germinated quickly and seemed eager to grow. It's still up in the air what's gonna happen with the BR on the left. I've been keeping the medium and rockwool cubes very wet at a nice temperature of 75F. I do have a backup plan if the BR doesn't want to sprout. I've got a WOS diamond line obsession to take her place. WOS obsession is a male hybrid of White Rhino, Black Domina, and Jack Herer crossed with a Gilgit Valley (Pakistan) female. I like WOS genetics and would be happy to give her a shot. I also have a G13 pineapple express auto that I'm going to grow regardless in my veg tent. So we will find out soon if I'm going to move forward with Positronics Blue Rhino or WOS Obsession.

This pic shows the Blue Rhino decided to join us after all, and on that note I will be moving forward as planned. Kosher Tangie, Blue Rhino, and a G13 Pineapple Express Auto are what I'm going to be growing here. My G13 PE just came in the mail today and has been placed in a nice glass of RO water. I will leave this auto in my veg tent under T5's for the entire grow. It will have the veg tent to itself once I move my BR and KT into my flower box. I've grown the BR before, around 5 generations of it, and loved it. I'm hoping I get a similar pheno as before from positronics. This is my first time with the KT and PE, so any advice would be appreciated as far as feeding and such. Right now I'm running AN for food, I've had good experience with them. Very excited to see what I get, should be fun.

G13's Pineapple Express Auto cracked with a quickness and has been planted in the middle bucket today. BR on the left, KT on the right, all are doing good so far. Have heard from a couple of you on RIU, thank you, and all have mentioned what a vigorous grower the KT is. I don't know of anyone that has made it to harvest yet, so I haven't heard any smoke report, yield, or harvest related info yet. I know a couple of you have her in flower now and I'm anxiously waiting to here. :joint:

My three lovely ladies. Check out the difference between the leaf width on the BR and the KT. These pics were all taken today.

Hey cool man, glad to have you. Just posting an update, all is well so far. The KT is definitely the more vigorous grower of the three. No signs of roots coming through the net pots yet, but should see something soon. The KT and the BR both have 3 large airstones in them pushing a lot of air. The PE only has 2 large airstones at the moment, but I might add more later. The water is all RO water from my RO system at 0 PPM. Only using 2 of the 6 bulbs on the T5 fixture so far, when plants get bigger I'll turn all 6 on. Also have been running light 24 hours and will switch within a week to 18/6. I'll be back with another update soon.

As of today, here's what they all look like. I introduced a very mild amount of food to the BR and KT two days ago. I also switched the light from 24 to 18/6. I'm noticing a fatter indica type of leaf shape on the BR and KT, wondering if they will thin out as they mature. Other than that, not too much more to update you with. I'm expecting growth rate to start taking off now that their roots have grown into the reservoir. Thanks for checking my grow out, I'll be back soon with more pics, Peace.

Hey what's up, thanks for checking in guys. Got another photo update here, remember the PE is a week behind. I've got quite a bit of experience with the BR and feel comfortable with that strain, but I'm wondering about the KT. I'm mainly wondering about it's response to nutrients. I know it's a newer strain, so I'm curious about growers' experience with both the Kosher Kush and Tangie strains. I'm also undecided if I'm going to top them or not. I have a scrog setup for both the BR and KT to grow into and am thinking a top early on wouldn't hurt. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i am in a growing mix like pro-mix in 3 gal. containers. at around week 6 of veg. mainlined to 4 tops. i use fox farms line and feed pretty weak. most everything is dark green except a couple are light green. the KT is on the lighter side and i started to up the grow nutes a little. and it is responding nice.

i know i doesn't help you growing in hydro.

Thanks guys and thanks for the info smoke. I am gonna keep my nutes light unless I see any deficiencies. I just topped the KT today, it's really looking nice so far. Did a foliar feeding today with F1 (Fulvic Acid) and H2 (Humic Acid) from advanced nutrients on the BR and KT. I've never used the H2 in a foliar spray, but gave it a shot. All is well in the tent, the only thing I can say is my BR is obviously less vigorous than my KT. Also, I'm thinking my PE might be a little slow too. I found another thread where someone was in week 4 of flower with a KT and said "it was the frostiest/smelliest strain he has seen in years". He was growing it alongside some other heavyweight strains too. I'm hoping this turns into a keeper with many clones to come. See you soon with another update!

Right on Shady, I originally got a BR from positronics as a freebie on an attitude order. It became the most vigorous grower in my garden and produced these amazing flowers. I cloned it for numerous generations and fell in love with this strain. So easy to grow, great yield, and absolutely loved the smoke. I ended up losing my plants, do to some complications, and since have ordered the BR from positronics again in hopes of getting the same pheno I had before. So far, my BR this time seems to be less vigorous than my original, but it is still coming along nicely. I still have 1 1/2 ounces of my original BR that I enjoy on a daily basis. Thanks for subbin up bro!
