a coulple shot of the dried/jarred double berry. Crazy density. A little bit of pushed out calyx structure but no real foxtailing. All in all I'd give it an 8/10 for growing. Easy to grow with no previous knowledge of the strain. Flowers in 8-10 weeks, I had one that was ready exactly at 8 and chopped about a week ago, the other has about a week to go so will be chopped at around 10-10.5. Stayed green most of the way through flower. Did very well at 600-800ppm in dwc. When I hit it with 1200ppm I got some crispy tips, but nothing big and it didn't seem to bother them much at all. Stay tuned for smoke report.

looks like u still got a week or 2 on that last photo set. Calyxes are swelling up but still pushing out white hairs

Yeah at least a week on both, the haze probably 2-2.5. The one that's further along is still just packing on weight so I'm waiting for that to stop. Trichs are already starting to Amber but there's tons of new growth. I have a feeling this may be one of those that never stops growing. They're both at 10 weeks now so I think 12 on the haze makes sense. Just kind of funny because I've grown one other seed of the same strain out and the pheno I got finished just over 9 weeks.

Would be nice for a bit more consistency from breeders when it comes to that. If the Flower time says 8-9 weeks, all of the beans of that strain should finish in that range IMO. Not some of them may go almost twice as long lol.

I throw the breeder's times out the window.

I honestly never pay attention to them. When my trichs hit amber I chop, 8 weeks 10 week 12, whatever. I've always had the best results from just letting them go. I plant the seed and give it water. Other than I don't do shit.

Don't always let the white hairs fool you man. Rely STRICTLY on amber trichs. If they get past 50% but you still think she's got some time, don't wait. Chop it. CBN's aren't what we're Goin for hurr.

I use a jewelers loop, and I usually chop between 5-20% Amber depending on strain and what I'm looking for. Pistils are the way everyone starts telling of their plants are finished and there is definitely a point in most strains they just look finished when they're done. But at some point you upgrade to a scope so you can really see what's going on.

I would still let that go a little longer. I hate white hairs when it comes to chop. But trichs are defo the indicator.

I think about 4-7 days on one ~10 on the second that are left.

Under a scope they're at 0 and 2% Amber lol. I'll let the haze go until I see its trichs start turning Amber. But probably will chip while still mostly cloudy. The double Berry I'll wait til 15-30% Amber. I chopped the first double berry at around 10% Amber and it's pretty decent. Want to see how couchlocky it gets at ~30%.
