exactly....auto's are plug & play...no worries, no hassle, no light leaks/schedules, just do what ever works best for your lifestyle.

as you know with my previous Indoor Sunshine Grows, they sit in the living room along side the other house plants....all you do is water, smoke a joint and watch them grow...only problem is you can spend a lot of time watching....becomes additive

I used CFL's for about 2 weeks, then mixed CFL with an old HPS bulb, first at 50% then 75 then 100%... now only using a brand new 600 watt bulb

BTW...... it's not a cabinet but rather in a bath tub, just without the water :)
I could only imagine a bathtub hempy :D :)))

it has been a month since they spouted, and I'm surprized how they are doing.

I assumed the Revolver would be the strongest (based on last summers's grow), but it's clearly not

revamped the grow room a bit....have the AC unit running on fan mode only....works well to pull out the warm air and blow cool air into the grow area

I'm getting concerned with the third plant (Revolver) is not showing any pre-flowers.....if something doesn't happen soon I'll need to get her into a dark room for 12 hours/day...friggin auto's

The dwarf is growing fast, and the EM is looking decent (note pic above for growth in 3 days)
The friggin Revolver is still not showing preflowers, so yesterday I started moving her into a dark room to achieve a 12/12 light schedule

:blsmoke:Looking nice and healthy man! You've almost talked me into using pop bottles. Looking forward to learning about your feeding schedule too.

P.S. Done some studying on Lucas Formula. What Are your thoughts about using the GH Maxibloom powder or FloraNova as opposed to the 3 part Flora? I like cheap but I want it to work good too. Like this.

http://lucasformula.com
I used maxi nutes with both Perlite/vermiculite and straight perlite wroth good results. The lucas formula worked great.
I now use perlite/coco so had to change nutes.
If I were to grow p/v again i would use that version of the formula.

thanks for the feedback grapes, do you have a journal for your grow?

I have only used perlite/vermiculite (also done 100% perlite) so I have no personal experience with other mediums, but I've seen people use diced rockwool with great results

I even heard of someone using the foam from an old sofa....so there's not much you can't use

Thanks for the reply! I'm only asking because I'm planning on taking the hempies outside this summer and I imagine the water will evap right away from the rez.

You're an inspiration to me, man

thanks grapes...

Hempy has worked very well for me with my "indoor sunshine" grows...not sure how hot your summer gets, but mine are not bad as I often have a cool ocean breeze

3 gallon hempy buckets work really well, as you don't have to water/feed as often as the 2L pop bottles

the warm summer breezes does consume the moisture quicker than my HPS grows, but not really that big of difference (for my climate).

Hey bud, ISK is very knowledgeable.

IMHO If your going outside ISK is right get a larger bucket, Hell 5 gallon would be fine. I would also go with a 50/50 or 60/40 Coco/Perlite, that will hold the moisture better. Do not put the bucket in the direct sun and you shouldn't have problem with the rez or medium heating to bad.

Good Luck and be sure to post some pics of your grow.

One more thing, if you have never used coco before, do a lot of reading on it and how to charge it. Will save you a lot of misery in the long run, but for what you plan I think its the best. You could just go with soil outside, your grow period will be a bit longer.
