Hi guys n gals,

I decided to set up a one stop shop for anyone who enjoys my reviews, if you would kindly leave the discussion for other sections it would help in keeping this more like a journal of various smoke / grow reports. There are some who think I am just an angry troll living in a cave somewhere below the RIU surface. I intend to change that perception and bring you all some pictures and stories with no resentment or animosity. I greatly appreciate your respect and time as you read through these. Also if anyone wants me to test some seeds for them feel free to send me a pm. If you have any questions or comments feel free to send me a PM or we can discuss it in www.rollitup.org/t/king-arthur-tod-discussion.861166/ .

Sincerely,

King Arthur

Dark Heart Nursery's Fire OG (Raskal’s OG Kush x SFV OG Kush)
I recommend this strain for low light applications, it performed very well under a cheap chinese led throwing off 90 watts. Great for micro growers / scroggers / sogers. Strain can be adapted to many different sizes/training.

This little gem was given a small spot in the "testing testing 123" tent. This tent originally started with 2 x 180w chinese ufo's. Once I seen that my tester tent was actually working with only 200 watts in the tent I decided to add another 300 watts to the mix. So please keep that in mind as I continue this.

Visual - I feel that Fire OG is a very visually appealing strain, if it doesn't make it to top shelf it would be right under it. It is nice healthy green buds with orange hairs. The trichome coverage is amazing!

Smell -
Lemony pine, not the strongest smelling yet but it is still curing.

Taste -
The taste is earthy with hits of lemon, I wouldn't say this is the tastiest strain but the smells come through on the tongue very well.

Potency -
This is a high point of the strain, FOG is a very potent strain and if you let it finish up it will amaze you. Potency alone this clone is a keeper (have to pick up more).

Medium - 1 gal grow bag with FFOF soil.

Training - None

Nutrients - Fox Farms Grow, Big, Tiger. Small use of terpinator (finished the bottle off). Unlike most growers I feed only what the plant needs and do not overfeed. The FOG was green from day 1 - chopdown. Even with water the last week. I do not flush either because when you don't overfeed no need to flood them.

Lighting - Mainly under 90 watts of LED, got a little bit of offlighting from the 300watter in the middle.

Ease of Growth -
DHN says that this strain is intermediate to expert, I find this completely subjective. If you feed her lightly and make sure she has light she will grow. One of the easiest plants I have grown. (not my first time with FOG either though)

Bug/Pest Resistant? -
0 problems with it attracting bugs or developing PM however please note that the humidity where I live is so low that PM is almost impossible.

Would I Grow Again? -
I have grown before and I will definitely grow again, when is another question.

Tally it Up
Visual - 10
Smell - 8
Taste - 7.5
Potency - 9
Yield - 9 (yields very nice for an OG but overall it is a medium yielder)
EoG - 10 (easy strain to grow)

Puffin on some right now, the smoke is real smooth and pillowy on the exhale, nice flavor and I can feel the warmth around my body. Feels like a nice blanket just got laid on my back and some heady effects too. Very uplifting strain at the beginning of the smoke.

Sweet Seeds's Cream Mandarine (Fast Version) (Cream Mandarine Auto x Diesel)
I recommend this strain for low light applications, it performed very well under a cheap chinese led throwing off around 120 watts. Strain loved the light, needed to be pinched and trained a lot.

Visual - Very impressive, blew through all my expectations. Beautiful purple coloring and trichomes covering the leaves she is a beauty.

Smell -
Rub the stem (which turned completely purple... not a little but completely dark ass purple) smells like oranges, but the buds smell like grapes. It is the oddest phenomina to me because I was expecting her to end up like oranges but now she smells like grape koolaid or grape pez candies. Actually she smells more like grape soda. I am wondering if it is because she lived her life next to the GDPS :D.

Taste -
The taste is like chewing on a grape pez or drinking grape cough syrup. It makes me very nostalgic of my childhood. It is so smooth and the smoke is very expansive.

Potency -
I have to say this is one my my first strains I have grown that was bread with an auto to form something this amazing. I generally stay away from autos or anything to do with them from previous bad experience but this was a freebie that needed growing and YES she is good and potent!

Medium -
1 gal grow bag with FFOF soil

Training -
Bending of stems, 2 trellises to support it, let her do her thing as long as she didn't touch the light.

Nutrients -
Fox Farms Soil / Fox Farms Grow, Bloom, Tiger and maybe one dose of cha ching, Epsom Salt, Lots of Water (PH exactly 0 times, I stopped Phing a long time ago)

Lighting -
Mainly under 120 watts of LED, got a little bit of offlighting from two other 100w panels from advancedledlights

Ease of Growth -
The only thing you really have to do is keep her from growing into the light. She was stretching her whole life even up into the last week I had to tie her down. Very amazed at her nutrient uptake and how she didn't seem finicky at all.

Bug/Pest Resistant? -
No, this baby attracts the bugs so you would be wise to be preventative and spray with neem or another organic option.

Would I Grow Again? -
I am in shock and awe at how amazing this plant was. I decided to reveg the bottom half and try to keep her in the garden for future projects. (might use her to breed)

Tally it Up
Visual - 10
Smell - 9.5
Taste -9
Potency - 8.5
Yield - 9
EoG - 10 (easy strain to grow)

I find the smoke on this strain so nice that I have jarred up its remains and am holding on to it for a special occasion. I really enjoyed growing her and hope she can come back to life for me in the reveg.

MTG's Godfather Kush (GDP) x (La Confidential) x (Bubba Kush)
I recommend this strain for low light applications, it performed very well under an advanced led throwing off 91 watts..

70 Days and she is some of the frostiest buds I have seen. It is such a weird mix of all three strains and parts of the plants even got really dark purple in it but other parts were just green with one side purple. Never seen something like that before it is pretty wild! So I am sitting here about to toke a bowl and tell you guys how the effects are working on. I will post this after some time of deep thought while listening to meditation music.

on the inhale she has a subtle sweet flavor but when she hits the back of your tongue it screams kush. The exhale is a weird twist between LA Con and Bubba but its totally a nice filling smoke. She seems a little harsh on the lungs but the ash is coming out a nice white so I believe it either needs a few more weeks curing or she is just naturally a little stronger.

15 Minutes in my whole back is starting to relax almost like a warm blanket is being wrapped around me. My mind is drifting in and out and I feel very weighed down right now. This is definitely a strain that will leave you in your chair for a while.

30 Min in and I am starting to feel a need for some munchies, I am going to up the dosage and take another two small bong rippers. I am going to leave you guys with this as I may not return to finish this after I get to the fridge!

Visual - Visually it has some nice purple hues and the plant gets darker as time progresses. I think she would sit fine on the top shelf as she is real dense and frosty!
Smell - She had hints of grape in there but her main smell was some real kushy overtones.

Taste - Interesting and hard to completely put my finger on, I could taste a little of each throughout the hit which seems really weird to me as I usually get more of one or the other on flavors. Super cool though I would say this is a tasty 6.5 or 7. I am not too impressed as I like lemony or pinesol diesel or some fruity over kushy.

Potency -
A nice couchlock strain, I enjoyed puffing on it so much that I ran out :). I actually smoked this stuff while doing all sorts of activities like meditating or working out etc. I enjoyed the smoke!

Medium - 1 gal grow bag with FFOF soil.

Training - None

Nutrients - Fox Farms Grow, Big, Tiger. Small use of terpinator (finished the bottle off). Unlike most growers I feed only what the plant needs and do not overfeed.

Lighting - Mainly under 91 watts of LED.

Ease of Growth -
Another easy peasy strain, set her and forget her.

Bug/Pest Resistant? -
0 problems with it attracting bugs or developing PM however please note that the humidity where I live is so low that PM is almost impossible.

Would I Grow Again? -
I think she is a winner but I don't know when I will bring her back around. Patients were in love with her and are requesting it but I have others to attend right now.

Tally it Up
Visual - 9
Smell - 6.5
Taste - 7.5
Potency - 9 (changed from my original opinion, kept going back to her)
Yield - 9 (Nice dense trichome dripping colas)
EoG - 10 (easy strain to grow)

Overall a really nice strain to have in the arsenal! I don't think anyone would be let down by this offering. Please note that this review was done prior to posting this thread so it may seem a little disorganized. I am trying to keep every review process the same to try and help peoples choices and so people can see what my scale is.

I see why you had an issue with my review, this is great, still think you were a bit harsh but what am I going to do, cry? Nah, just shake it off and move forward. Nice post I liked it tremendously.

so that cream mandarin was better than the fire og?
Well the problem with comparing strains is that they all do different things, while the Fire is nice and heady the Cream Mandarin does a nice job but also tastes amazing. I was told it smells like raspberries and the bag appeal to me is a little better. The Fire OG is an amazing strain in its own merit but it didn't have a taste that I would just smoke it for flavor.

I have to come up with a better scale, that is why I haven't put up the other reviews yet. I still have the True x Abba Zabba 3 different phenos , KGDP clone only, Purple Cadillac clone only, Pineapple Express, Purple Trainwreck neighbors clone. I have a lot to do still.

nice just curious n saw the reviews saying that. nice reviews!
Yeah man I am having such a hard time rating the buds, I actually am going to stop rating them myself and use a buddy system. I will a single blind study or something. To me it is a sad thing to have to come up with a number of my satisfaction when plants like the Fire OG are phenominal plants but a 10 is undefinable for me at this time and so I would honestly just go with how you feel after reading the report and skip the numbers altogether until I can find someone who is a better judge.

I try to keep only the good in my arsenal so over time it is even going to change my likes and dislikes. Hmmm.... I need to ponder.

I took her down 9 weeks because even if she bulked up she would only have yielded a quarter oz. I got other stuff to get to, I will try her again when I have time to veg her out proper. Wat I did get was nice though.

Thanks for what you've done so far, it's unfortunate that you're not going to continue but I understand the time constraints.

These reviews are awesome and actually pushed me to order some new beans of some of the strains reviewed.

I will keep going I just need a better scale, so that anyone reading it understands what I mean when I say a 9 for instance.
I appreciate the kind words I will post some soon I just haven't figured out how to fix it just yet.
