http://kindledgrowlights.com/product/led-grow-light-fixtures-k5-xl1000/ i plan on picking up ones of these in a week or 2 but at $1800 i want to make sure it's money well spent. im told these are the best or at least one of the best leds are the market. honestly i dont really care for the special functions. i plan on running it full power, full spectrum, flower only. i actually hope i dont have to use the built in timer function because i want to run it at 240 thru my light controller.

What are you really after with LEDs,
Most the time the best option is the DIY Cree cobs.

my main objective is less heat. i pay a lot of extra money for ac in the summer. if this light works good i may buy 4 more. i actually like hps in the winter for the heat. it's actually perfect where i'm at because our winters are so cold and heating is also expensive. my hps actually saves big time on the heating costs. summer i wouldnt mind going leds if it's as good as i think it is. it is a lot of money but a plant or 2 will pay for it. that 650 watts is equal to a hps 1000w and obviously has better spectrum. i just hope it has enough penetration for bigger plants. from the sounds of these newer leds that i have seen in videos and articles this is probably going to be the way to go or plasma. i cant do the diy i dont have the time. i'd rather pay a company that did the research and looks to be one of the best on the market. plus diy can be more of a fire hazard. i really cant have that happen. it's a lot of money but if they work as good as i think i may get 4 more.

Overpriced and old technology, those things produce as much heat as they do light I would stay away from those, check these LED makers they are much better. www.a51led.net www.opticgrowlights.com/

EVERYONE... here rants and raves about the new white, white/red LEDs. Their are proven journals as to their efficiency and production. For that money you could buy 4 150 watt area 51 light and use less heat and better yield. I've never tried them myself but their the hottest thing out now.
