Marijuana flowers at 12 hours of darkness, 12 of light, so no, they will not flower now outside. As far as putting them outside, be careful. I would transition them slowly from the shade to sun, otherwise they could die. Make sure you keep an eye on them.

I don't mean to be confrontational on my very first post, but that information is wrong. INDOOR marijuana plants are made to flower with a 12/12 regime. Outdoors, pot's flowering response is triggered by the gradual increase in the dark period. Depending on the variety, it will begin flowering after varying amounts of long nights.
I, unfortunately, have some direct experience with this, and there is a real chance that the sudden change in photoperiod will indeed mess them up.

could you elaborate more on this what should you do .....i have also had my seedling under 24 hours of light indoors for about a week or so and was wondering when to transplant.
its only got its second set of leaves and i was gonna wait until it got to its 5th set. should i slowly put it to outside lighting times??

This is only my opinion, but I would put it under a timer which only gives it a couple of hours more light than your current outside conditions. Synchronise it with outdoors now. If it doesn't show sex, you're laughin'.

A young seedling will not flower if you take it from 24 hours of light to outside because its not sexually mature. The seedling does not have enough of the flowering hormones to be triggered.
If you placed a clone outside that was under 24 hours of light, it may start flowering because it is a sexually mature plant. The outdoor light at this time of the year is close to flowering Trigger. 15-16 hours of light is just on the edge of outside flowering.
To prevent flowering with a sexually mature plant you want to put outside, you have to match the hours of light inside with the sun outside.
That way when you put the plant outside it will not have a drastic change.

I normally use 24/0 inside lighting for the first three weeks after germination and reduce it to 14/10 as I introduce them to outdoors a few hours a day until after the last frost date when they go outdoors full-time. My plants sex at 6-8 weeks, outdoors.
A friend specializes in clones and he's very careful to match his inside lighting time to outdoors before placing them outside.

I wouldn't even go as far as 14/10 before putting them out. I bought some clones from a couple local clubs and just to be sure that they didn't start flowering, I hardened them off for 2 weeks under 18/6 then switched to 16/8 on the 2nd week. During the day I take them outside for 3-5 hours and put them under something like a woven chair or tinted glass to filter the direct sunlight. I plan on transplanting them outdoors this week now since they're truly ready to go outdoors. and if you can, transplant later in the day when they won't be in the direct light which can cause too much shock if they're not used to the light and stunt them or even die.

I like 14/10 for seed germinated plants eventually going into the ground. Never had the problems with early flowering.
Clones require a lot more care and attention than germinated seeds. The growers I know who make clones (I also use them on occasion) often experience significant failure rates in the cloning process.
Then there's the big size/yield difference with mature clones compared to seed germinated and grown in the ground weed. Where I live they're primarily used to supplement seed crop males. The hole's dug, the soil amended and it makes good sense to pop a clone in.

The largest mature clone I've seen from an in-the-ground clone around here was about 5' with an 18 ounce yield. Seed plants average around two pounds with trees producing 3-4 pounds.agreed. I'm not too sure where you live, but I've seen friends' mature fems around 8+ ft from clones. they also dug 5x5x5 holes lol
