KK right now I have 7 moms and 2 clone chambers under a 400 watt mh in a 5x7x8h room. All my moms are around 3-4 foot tall and bushy as fuck.COuldnt tell you the strain there all from bag seed I collected over the last 3-4 years or so.

Im planning on moving my 400 into my flower room along with the 1000whps I already have in there. And probably my inferior moms. What I want is advice on what I will need to keep say maybe 4 moms alive and my 2 clone chambers with room for maybe 1 more mom an 1 more clone chamber.I want to go all flourescent for this.

Now Im in the edmonton area what do I need and where do I get it?I want to say money is no object but the old ball and chain would flip If I spent another 6 bills on lights before my first harvest.

You could very cheaply use simple hanging CFL's, enough in the right places, and maybe some mylar, i think would keep you moms kickin a while.

From what I've read here in the forums.... the florescent won't be enough to keep the mothers going strong. How about getting a 400 w HSP/MH conversion light. HTGsupply.com has one for $164.95. I'm a beginner indoor gardener so this is only a suggestion.... I'm sure others will have better advice :D

Well thanks anyways guys. It seems my 400mh is just what I need ,soooo Im just going to buy a 600 hps to toss in my flowering room. What I need is a led revolution.Another few years me thinks :(

Another question though.Would it be worthwhile to get some cfls, and hang them in my plant canopy considering if whether or not I have spaced them enough?

BUMP,I mean hang these cfl's in between my plants for mor light, seems like a good idea to me.Add 100w of close range flourescent to my inner canopy,no Im not trimming the foliage on the bottom of my plants!

Do I really need pics to get you guys to reply?I got the 1.3 camera phone Ill give you some of those. At the very least you'll get a chuckle off my 10 foot plastic dinosaur pool bed.(think its dinosaurs, neways pools for the kid just thought I could get some winter use out of it!)

Looks aight but you cant seriously be growing off of cfls alone.Im soon going to have 16oo watts of hps above my canopy. As I said though I want to hang some cfl's just to supplement.:fire:
