Keeping genetics while maintaining numbers

Just wondering what you all do in terms of maintaining your genetics. Do you clone and then pollenate and bring to seed, do you keep moms, do you just buy seed when needed? Still finding my own way on this one, always like hearing everyone's individual systems.

cuttings will store in a zip lock, misted, in the fridge drawer for weeks, viable and not a plant.
marijuana/root is easily cultured with successful sterile technique
clone from a clone from a clone from a clone=i do this mostly

I don't know how everyone else does it, this is our system.
I hold most of the genetics.
Currently I'm aloud 15 plants with my ACMPR permit, I'm only flowering 3 at the moment but in my veg I have my moms
Two Canuk Seeds GG#4
Canuk Seeds Blueberry
Barneys Farm Triple Cheese
2 Dutch Passions Power Plant
5 Alaska
I also have other friends with ACMPR permits who mostly flower.
In june it will be legal for Canadians to have 4 plants per household
I have friends who want to hold genetics off site in veg for me.
This will greatly improve our selection and help us from losing a strain.
Cheers

I'm doing similar - I'm not sure if all mom's is the best route for me given the numbers and there are so many strains I want to try my hand at. I wish it was an option, I like having the little mom's around.

I probably have the worst method for numerous reasons.

I simply take the next round’s babies right before I flip into flower. I never keep anything beyond a 10-pack of something if is crazy fuego so I can restart it later in a pinch.

This gives me roughly 6 weeks of veg time before I chop the flower room and then I repeat the process.

It is just not economical for me to keep moms, I’d rather have that precious space producing crusty nugs.

two things i am going to try in the future. since plants are considered rooted, i either wanna store un-rooted clones in the fridge in water changed every several days or tissue culture.

the fridge trick i have read will work for 4-6 weeks.

right now i just keep small clones of clones.

4-6 weeks is pretty good, I may have to test that to see how far it can be pushed.
