Karma Is Real

Does anyone else notice that karma always seems to work out in the end??? I used to steal shit and be a bad person, but now I stopped doing all that and bad things have stopped happening to me. Its like when ever you do something bad to someone something bad happens to you that is similar to what you did wrong.

Having said this Instead of trying to get revenge let the universe work it self out. Or maybe I just smoked too much :eyesmoke:

tell that ta the dead babies

Don't want to sound like a prick. I don't personally want to believe this religious idea but we are our children so therefore aren't our sins passed onto them. Says that in some bibles I think that they should not have to pay for what there parents do.

Don't mean to sound like a dick myself but that sounds kinda stupid. People recognize when bad things happen to them after they've done something good or bad because people need think there needs to be reasons for everything that happens. Shit happens. I don't think the people in third world countries deserve what happens to them and I don't think the Native Americans deserved to be killed and have their land taken and the Africans didn't deserve to be taken and forced into slavery.

Wait, let me get this clear. You're saying that babies die because their parents have sinned?

Am I understanding you correctly?

I think karma is a spiritual fundamentalists approach to the irrational causality of nature.....

Bad thing happen to bad people because they are in bad situations. Good things happen to good people because they keep themselves in good situations. But cars still hit people. People still kick the coffee table. You know why? Shit happens!

Id like to belive in such thing as a karma, but for some reason shit always happens to me, and nothing good comes out what i do-its like Im cursed or some shit.Im not a bad person, but i have done some shitty deeds.Butmany things i do isnt at all bad.
I ask, when this shit is going to stop?

It all really boils down to two fundamental ideas: higher intelligence or chaos.
Karma would fit into the former as it has the workings of some sort of grand architect or the idea of a conscious and self retributive universal energy.
If shit simply happens and we assign reason to it, this would be chaos theory.
I personally believe in a mash up of the two: There is an intelligence that we cannot explain in the energies constantly permeating the world which we find ourselves, yet there are so many things happening its chaotic to our ability to comprehend.
Kinda like only being able to see parts of the puzzle. Read Plato's "allegory of the cave"

I agree too, Juan Abongheet (yes I do, lol, nice) It's when we try to place karma into a categorized context to give justification of reasoning that goes against our personal reasoning, does it seem pretty chaotic... and absurb

I find that if your a person who leads a 'bad' life your most likely putting yourself into situations where bad things are more likely to happen to you. If your leading a 'good' life your most likely to stay away from situations where bad things can happen. I cant call that Karma, just playing the odds. The rest is just random cause of events. Chaos.

i went thru a stealing faze.. i learned real quick about karma. not just stealing but also how you treat people, you skimp someone on a sack, best believe you gonna get skimped..

they said it the best in pineapple express:

Red: Man, I'm just into Buddhism, and I'm at peace with the fact that me, as this person, probably gonna not be around. Think about a hermit crab, okay? And it's a shell. It's like, they go from one shell to the next. And that's what I am. I'm just a hermit crab changin' shells.
Dale Denton: Except if you're a dick your whole life, your next shell will be made of shit, okay? If you're an asshole, you're gonna come back as a cockroach or a worm or a fuckin' anal bead, okay? If you're a man and you act heroic, you'll come back as an eagle. You'll come back as a dragon. You'll come back as Jude Law, okay? Which would you rather be?
Red: Maybe the anal bead, depending on who it belongs to.
Dale Denton: Belongs to me.
Red: Then the dragon.

dont be a dick and you wont come back as an anal bead..

i know that there are terrible people that live out their whole lives creating nothing but destruction and chaos and never have to answer for their crimes in this world. karma may exist, but not in this reality. if karma really were true in this reality, there would be a lot more people answering for their crimes in this lifetime.

Karma isn't necessarily good nor bad in it's true form. It's a reaction to what energy you put out into the universe. It's all about your intentions and then manifests your actions and even your reactions as well. :)

...a relative of mine is a firefighter. They don't just fight fires, they're first responders - medics, etc... Anyway, he's at a relatively busy hall at present. I saw him recently and he was telling me about it.

First words out of his mouth "Karma is real" - this from a guy who would have raised a skeptical brow a few years back if someone would have mentioned that word.

...and what about Dharma? If karma is real then dharma is also. "So be good for goodness sake" ;)
