welcome
get some lowrider seeds they arnt hard to grow you could hang em on a windowsil and they would grow no growing room needed. its like 3months start to finish with those seeds

You say you're living in Ontario and it might be cold? Let me tell you, witches tits would feel warm.:blsmoke:

Maybe other Canadian growers will chime in, but you will have a short growing season outdoors, so should stick with mostly Indica hybrids. And you've mentioned that part about money, IOW selling your produce. When you live in someone else's house, you should not risk getting them in any trouble. Just how young are you? Do your parents use pot, or are they cool with it? Or will you keep everything away from their property, like you should?

Stuff to consider....

I grow and am growing in Ontario Canada.

Ontario is a very large province and the temperatures are a lot warmer in the south than the north so growing and strains differ around the province.

Most people in southern or central Ontario put their crop outside from about May 24 to the first week in June. After those dates there is little chance of frost until the fall.

Harvest is usually from the first of October to the end of October. Some stains will finish earlier and you can purchase seeds such as Early Girl that have been designed just for their early harvest dates. As mentioned above Indicas and Indica crosses are very popular. Some people grow Sativas but they are not for the beginner as they finish very late and many don't make it in before it snows.

I start my plants from seed around the first week in March. I grow them until they show sex and then through out the males. I then re-veg the female plants and they are the ones I plant the first of June.

Hope this helps!

thank you everyone for the advice. as for potroast i would be doing it away from my house for sure and a few other ppl plant in the area. they havent been caught to my knowledge since they have continued to grow numerous years and since its a sort of island theres low-none police activity.

Hey O'Brien,
Thanks for your reply in my inducing flowering thread.

A couple of posts back you said:
"I grow them until they show sex and the through out the males. I then re-veg the female plants and they are the ones I plant the first of June."

How do you 're-veg' outdoor plants that have just revealed their sex (and I assume are entering into bud cycle) ?

Thanx

Hey MaxBax, maybe I miss led people a bit with my post. I do not re-veg outdoor plants, I re-veg indoor plants. I grow them indoors until I am ready to put them outside. Then they become outdoor plants.

Sorry if I was a little confusing with my post.

BaconSquishy, I can not think of an Indica or Indica cross that does not grow well in Southern Ontario. Sativa's are another story because of the long time some of them need to flower.

If you are just starting out growing two stains of Indica's dom. plants come to mind, Big Bud and Skunk #1. Both of these plants are easy to grow and have a good high and yield.

Just a word of advice from an old grower, "DON'T GROW ON YOUR OWN PROPERTY" !!!!!!!!

This will help keep you and your folks out of jail!
