foxfarm soil i've added blood meal for a previous N problem. otherwise just tap water, no nutes. I water every 3-5 days

Bury it deeper, flush, LET DRY BETWEEN WATERING, add light nutes (1/4) at next watering, add more light.

too much Nitrogen looks like that. a young plant in fresh soil doesn't have deficiencies IMHO.
interesting- thanksw for that thought frmrboi-

BTW the plant has been in pot for over 1 month now. Since march 15ish. adn the only thing I have used to supplement the soil has been blood meal- lightly spread over top of soil and and watered in. this was three- waterings ago.

I was under the impression that you could not over fertilize with blood meal(still i used it sparingly) Is this a good assumption or? Either way- how often should I be applying blood meal btw?

I haven't used the stuff myself, your correct in that over use of organics are safe in that they won't burn the roots etc. Nothing wrong with a little too much N anyways except the leaves aren't flattened out perfectly to catch maximum light.
