Day 5...

Flowering has just started, this is the healthiest bunch I have ever had. It's hard to tell from the pics, but there are 5 plants total. 2 Durban Poison, 1 Cheese, 1 Skywalker, and 1 Grapefruit Diesel. I have cuttings from all, so this is looking like something to stay with for a while. Every plant was at least 18" and up to 23" tall before stgarting the flowering cycle, so this is going the be the best harvest I have had yet.

I have done the DP before, and based on previous harvest on that alone with the 2 plants I should get 1/4 LB. The other 3 are experimental, but they are looking equally nice so conservatively I'm looking at 1/2 LB harvest from 5 plants.

A few days later, a few inches taller...

Everything is in full rapid growth right now, day 6 of flowering. The Durban Poison should slow down and flower heavily in another week, not sure on the other 3. Based on the sativa looking qualities of the Cheese, I'm guessing it will be a long flowering cycle.

The first close shot is Cheese, the second is Skywalker, the third is Grapefruit Diesel and the last is Durban Poison.

Not a single gnat, whitelfy or mite is anywhere to be seen-by far the healthiest crop I have ever done!!:peace:

Day 12 of flowering, things are growing like mad.

All plants were pretty uniform in height when flowering started, about 19" tall. Now there is a 10" difference between the tallest and shortest.

The Durban Poison's have slowed rapid growth and are flowering nicely at 26" tall (first close-up). The Cheese is taking over the closet, typical Sativa and is 36" tall (second close-up). It is averaging well over an inch per day and not slowing down yet! The Skywalker has slowed and started to flower nicely, it's 28" tall (third close-up). The GrapeFruit Diesel has also slowed, but is a bit taller than the Skywalker at 29" tall (last pic).

I am feeding and watering quite heavily right now and they are just eating it up. The soil is dry within 2 1/2 days of a full watering so they are drinking it up as fast as I can give it to them.

Enjoy, :peace:

Congrats...

Thanks Twisty, much appreciated.

I've got Upstate and Purple Kush cuttings waiting in the wings for once this batch finishes out. I'm gonna keep the Durban Poison going for sure, the rest I'll see how this batch turns out. It's taken a year to get to this point where I have good strains, can't wait to see where I end up next year!

Day 20...

Things are looking fine, trichomes are making their appearance and growth is variable.

The Durban Poisons (front part of the garden and first close-up) are flowering heavily and have stopped rapid growth.

The Cheese (tall plant in the back and second close-up) is now 4 feet tall and showing no signs of slowing down! Everything was uniform height when flowering was started, you can really see the difference in strains now.

The Skywalker (third close-up) is looking nice, not as much trichomes as the DP but longer flowering cycle.

The Grapefruit Diesel is looking pretty good, also a longer flowering cycle so I'm waiting to see how it turns out.

I can't wait, I'm down to the nitty gritty from the last harvest so this one is much anticipated!

Good show fella! The cheese will go for close to 9 weeks in flower usually depending on seed bank. It produces masses of resin and is real good for making hash and oil. Its a real nice smoke too i always find it has an almost lemony smell too it .

How ya keepin anyway fella? Things been good? Ill put some pics of my most recent grow up in here show ya the difference between this grow and my last on riu.

Catch ya later

Day 26 of flowering

Things are looking chunky and sticky! The Durban Poisons are further along by quite a stretch now, I just switched over to finishing formula today. They'll get that for the next 2 weeks, then flush till finished. I took more pics of the DP this time, it's looking so nice!

The others are looking OK, but will take at least 3-4 additional weeks to flower given their progress now. It's very interesting how the Skywalker looks really chunky like indica, but has a long flowering cycle and is a cross between 2 sativas.

Enjoy, :peace:

Today is week 6 exactly of flowering, and the Durban Poison is ready to take off the tops.

I LOVE this strain. 6 weeks to finish and heavy dense sweet buds. It is the ultimate indoor strain so far.

Here are the pics of the 1st harvest, I just cut the tops for now. The pics show both plants before cutting the tops, closeup of the crystals, after topping, the basket of untrimmed buds, the tray of trimmed, and the hanging to dry closet. I'm planning on feeding them a nice dose of Beastie Blooms and then let them go for another couple of weeks to finish out the fluffy buds. Did I say I LOVE this strain??:weed:
