Hello all hope all is well with you all. But I'm hear today for a little information and insight from you all. I fairly new to grow and I plan on stepping my game up, I leaving the realm of grogrowing four to five plants to 15 to 20. Now for me to do this my closet no longer offers help so I plan on buying a Reflective Mylar 96" X 48" X 78" Hydroponics Grow Tent Hydro Box Hut Cabinet to be specific. Which leads me to my first question is this tent to big or not big enough I have 20, 3 gallon fabric round pots. I have one 600watt hps and mh set up Im thinking about adding one more 600 watt and an 1000watt set up also. So once again is that to much lighting or not enough for 20 plants. The soil is fox farm which is my favorite, but please throw your own personal tips in on different soil to us. So guys and gals thats it hopefully i was detailed enough to get some info out of you all and thank you for your time

Here's my recommendation. bare in mind its just my opinion. You've got an excellent start. fill ur bags and see how many fit in the bottom of your tent without squishin em all in. if they all fit great. use the screen of green (SCROG) method to maximize your yield by filling in normally unused space in your grow tent and allowing light to penetrate further into the plants. IM me for more info on this method if you're not familiar with it. Instead of another 600w HPS and or MH look into getting an LED with similar output to what you currently have and set it side by side with your HPS/MH. LED has come a long way and is a great way to save money. With an LED you wont have to upgrade any of your temperature control equipment because they run so cool, they will pull less power and save you on your bill, and they last a long time. Theyre easy to use and setup, don't need a ballast, and ultimately it'll be a good learning experience. you'll also be able to see if a completely LED setup would produce as much and as good a quality product as its HPS/MH counterpart.

as far as soil, if you have access to a nice wooded area go get your own. i get all my topsoil straight out of the woods and I love it. its a bit of work but it costs you next to nothing and, i believe, is better than anything. If you have any questions feel free to ask if all you're lookin for is an educated opinion :c)

So that 2.5 metres by 2 metres by 2 metres high
U could do about 10 plants I reakon unless u plan on a sog
2 600ws should be fine
I run a 1.2 by 1.2 by 2 tent and use 1 600w and do 4 plants and my tents full as it can be

hey bud. theres a difference between SOG and SCROG. Scrog uses a screen to train the plants outward from the stalk. In SOG (Sea of Green) you put a bunch of small plants in your space, say 3-4 per square ft., and just let em grow all cramped together for a shorter time period without topping or training
