Bad News: $700 labor + parts.
Whats Needed:

100 Amp service panel
2) 20amp lines to my garage
New breaker box in garage

I witnessed first hand how the fuses in my house, yes those old screw in fuses, are being pushed to the limit and melting a little. This is not good. I've been running a grow that could have started a fire.

Just a friendly reminder, make sure that your electricity is safe. I've been spared disaster by finding out how bad it was. Make sure that your stuff is safely wired people, fire is the number 1 way to loose you house and freedom being found out.

Now, get your ass over here, its gonna be 4:20 soon. bongsmilie:bigjoint:

Fuses are suppose to melt! Your fires typically can be started by a fuse failing to melt(rare), but more likely in the wiring between it and the draw. Any standard 12 gauge home electric wire can handle 20 AC amps safely with ease(it's rated for it). Shouldn't be any fire hazard. :)

A dedicated breaker box for the garage sounds like an excellent idea. You must be ambitious!

It's a good idea to inspect everything you can periodically. Small things like temperature fluctuations can cause loose connections over time. You can get a multimeter for way cheap.

Bought the parts today for $285. Have some spare wire to get 2) 20 amp lines in the garage.
