I would go with definition 2 . as CBD has a lower amount of psychoactive properties than THC, and play a small part in your high

Harvested some of my White Widow today, I just took the top colas because they are ready.
The trics are about 75% milky white and what I harvested today is at 7 weeks.
I put my females back in under 12/12 so that the bottom buds can mature more.
Where did you get the white widows from? clone or seed? What breeder? I have about 35 female white widow plants from dutch passion going right now..

None of the trichomes on my plant turn the same color at the same time. At 20% amber my white Widow has the most percent of milky white than any other time.
We harvested our single white widow plant (67 days of flowering) on Wednesday of this week. Trim on Sunday. Winter buds are rock hard, love it.

Single WW:

Arc209, on your next harvest allow it to go a few more weeks, or untill most the clear trichomes are gone. I think most folks are going to say you harvested too early based on the photos you posted. Without looking at the trichomes, I would say it looked to be around day 30 or half way ripe. But I know that is not always the case, the lack of light can also be a cause for your plant to be undersized and not filled out properly.

Take the forum advice with a grain of salt and don't let it get to you.

Don't sweat it OP.. I harvest when trichs are mostly cloudy too.
Most RIU folks don't check the trichs for harvest time... they go by signs like receding pistils.

I've tried cuts of my long standing mothers at different times. I've harvested my 3 go to mothers 2 weeks later than what I normally do. While my green crack plant did yield more, it noticeably lost potency. My NL and SSH gained no yield and lost potency. My c99 plant actually lost yield harvesting 2 weeks later than my usual and def lost potency.

It's all preference and genetics. My c99s were ripe with something like 80% white pistils. This killing fields I am growing now has nearly no visible pistils and it isn't done yet. IMO, the trichs tell the truth.

Take a look at your buds after you dry them... the degradation goes even further during the dry time.

OP book learning and hands on are quite diff. Your plant is gorgeous but it would most ikely have been better going longer. It for sure would have doubled in size. Your flowers were not ripe. Gorgeous though.

ok, I say degrading in this form means breaking down, the thc breaks down into cbd (and probably other stuff too). Id never harvest earlier than 8 weeks for any strain, but its all a matter of opinion, and heady vs body.

Buds aren't finished until fully swollen calyx...I don't even start looking at trichome's until after the swell!
The very top of that bud was swollen but all the secondary buds were still immature + you should know a WW isn't going to finish in 50 days. How long has WW been around now and people still don't know that they require atleast 60 days

I know you were a little anxious to flaunt your grow know... But, if you would have read you might have seen that he just cut the tops and left the bottom to mature.

It's funny you say that... doubling in size sounds like RIU learned knowledge.

I think everyone was a little too anxious to post "too early bro" and did not notice that he only cut the tops and left the rest to ripen up.

something like 1 part THC is equal to 10 parts CBD... potency (punch packed) wise.
I think that makes for a strong case for degrading.

the top wasn't done either...bang leaves would be yellow
I don't care if you and him harvest early every time the rest of your lives

I don't have to know much about MJ to know that bang leaves should be yellowing near the top before harvest

Look @ picture with bang leaves still intact> not even starting to lose color yet

No way were those trichomes 100% cloudy yet
