I just started working at PB420 in San Diego and would be happy to answer any questions anyone has regarding collectives...

this one i got... many clubs are different, so it helps to go in and ask. often they tell me to just bring in a pound, and see what they say.

Hi, the pay is different for each collective but let's just say not a lot I work more to give back...

As for selling extra medicine, I am sure this completely depends on the co-op however at the one I work at, we have certain trusted vendors which are all patients as well, many of them bought clones from our co-op so we know exactly what we are getting. If a vendor we do not know comes in we 99% of the time tell them we do not deal with vendors we do not know, however it doesn't hurt to go into different collectives and see if there interested.

Is it usually the practice to buy that pound at about half of what it would be sold to patients for?

usually i've seen friends get 3 to 3.5 grand, for the good stuff that is. that's about the max

damn. i could get 4 gs fer a pound around my area fer sum good grown and of course a nice strain

yeah 3 gs is not that much for the best organic or w/v. but the legality is beyond legit.

Another question similar to/regarding where specifically dispensaries get their medicine:

Is this part underground? Can you get a license to strictly grow medical marijuana for dispensaries and make the actual growing part a business? Or is it mainly underground growers? Thanks

IndieGrower - We do not sell our medicine for double what we buy it for,

we usually buy ounces at a time not pounds, we will pay $250 tops for the highest quality, usually around $150

We try to buy from patients who buy clones from us.

I've started growing mother plants for a collective that I'm a memeber of. What is the average donation for mother plants I don't want to feel like I'm over charging yet, I want to be able to reinvest in my plants and grow material. I plan to ask for a compationate donation of $80 per plant . The plants will be in individual 3 gallon DWC bucket with out air pump when delievered. Should I ask for $100 since they will be in a plug and play set-up.

damn, that's a fuckin deal. for a collective thats a decent price, but its worth so much more! the buyer could make hundreds of full budded plant from this vigorous lady in her life, the DWC is such a sick freebie too. although i have seen "teen'/mother plants at dispensaries for 20-35 in soil.

i think PB420 sucks, i am sick of all these collectives popping up with the same owners, what kinda collective is that , a greedy one, lol i dk if cheese is one of these people , ido know charging sales tax is fing gay, legal issues or not paying 60 dollars an 1/8 plus tax wth 60 is outrageous, and how do they get by doubling their money from a collective, why dont the grower get all the profit, he is the one risking shit to help, not risking shit to make money... idk i just moved here and alot of the collectives are owned by the same people and dont take vendors, wth, money is for slaves and i dont even care im sure all these people get what they deserve, ima move my ass back to the woods, california is ridiculous

$100 a plant it is then in a 3 gallon DWC. This collective is being started by a patient that is going from tawn hall to town hall to get approval to open a dispensary. The last town hall meeting sounds promising. Just for knowing what would still be a fare donation to ask for. Plants are grown from seed under 24 hr of light in DWC . Once sex is determined transplanted to individual DWC buckets and given time to recover from any possible stress from transplanting. Seed lot 1 strain BC Bud Depot The Black is indica strain.Seed lot 2&3 unknown mex seed crossed with the black and inbreed for 3 generations I have breed 2 lines from this cross 1 more sativa dominate and 1 that is hybrid.

brainfaid - we sell our mother plants for $80-$100 to patients so I do not think a collective would spend that much on them from you.

formlessqarrior -- sorry you dont like pb420 but we have to pay sales tax it's the law, and we now have a $50 cap. Cheese does not own any other collectives besides this one so not sure what you are talking about really, if the grower wants all the profit he is not forced to sell to us he or she can start there own collective.
