just gettin started

i just put my seeds in a moist paper towel and am starting them and i need some tips on how to get them growin good. i got a growing light and a dark room. i need tips as far as temps of room moisture shit like tht??

depending on what medium you'll be growing in (I recommend rockwool for seedling) you should put it in the growing medium as soon as the sprout comes out of the see. then you should keep it in the dark in a humid/warm environment until it comes above ground. I keep my rockwool cubes on a heating mat with a humidity dome with the temp around 78F and the humidity around 80%. Once they come above ground, you should put them under fluorescent light (if available) and remove the humidity dome. if you dont have a dome, you can poke a hole or 2 in a ziplock and surround it over your cube until it comes above ground.

Sounds like you need to read some of the threads on this site. There is a ton of info on this site and one thing you will quickly learn is you can't get all the answers from the community by just posting one thread. It will take you minimum of a year to get comfortable with this, and many more years to continue reading threads when you have questions.

You'll get there, trust me. Best way to learn though is search RIU and read through previous threads.

thansk guys. i grew before but put them in the ground when they were bout a foot tall and let them go. neighbors caught on to me checkin in the woods so i let em go and came back like three months later and they grew on there on. this is the first time growin inside

Well inside has its advantages.You can grow them to the size you want and you can flower them when you want.

i need to kno how u tell male or female. and which ones are good and bad?? thanks

also need sum tips on the ehaust fan and lighting. i got a nig ass grow light but dont kno what watts and stuff it is. i got an all cement room in my basement so is the exhaust fan just for smell?

Cannabis plants are either male or female. The male plants produce pollen which pollinates the flowers of the female plant, which once pollenized, produce seeds. If the female plant isn't pollenized (if there are no male plants nearby producing pollen), the flower/buds continue to develop and produce THC. Female plants which are not pollenized are referred to as sensemilla (without seeds).
