no light what so ever in the grow room, i made that a priority at the begining, only fan blowing, although the temp did drop to 55 at night time often and i must say I did get quite hot at canopy level over the weeks .... easy hit 90 a couple of times

plants are heavy and the seeds where ripe in the bud i picked,,, i have nearly 25 cutting in the veg room, all from the feminized, are these no good?

the cuttings will need to be monitored closely for balls. I would definately keep them going.

the weed should still be smokable, albiet with seeds in it, just make the best of what happened, thats all you can do, harvest the seeds and remaining bud, and keep an eye on the clones.

Thanks Mr Moxxorax,
you've just put a smile back on my face, Your suggestion of flowering the seeds, will this actually work? and will they be both sexes or all females,

oh, Do you also think the cutting will also be hermies?

cheers again,
fem seeds dont deffo turn out to be females. and as mentioned stress from light or overwatering etc can make a plant go hermie. But you should still get a good smoke from them so dont be too disapointed. seeds cost money and now you have plenty for future grows. I am sure i read in the faq section of this great web site that you need to let your new seeds mature for a month or so before sowing. Keep them in a paper bag in a dry dark place.
I have had three more grows from the seeds i obtained from my hermies and all have been females. Maybe i was lucky, i dont know. All mine were white widows and produced a good crop of great quality with no seeds. As for cuttings you should be fine. Go ahead and give it a try.

Yeh, thats a common problem that sites dont tell you when you buy feminized. A lot end up being hermie. Anyways, as others have said....you will still have good smoke. It might be a 7/10 instead of 10/10, but don't cut the plants, just let them be. Make sure however to the CLEAN YOUR GROW ROOM VERY WELL, before your next oporation. I'm talking hardcore cleaning, you want to make sure there isn't a spore of pollen in the entire room.

I had the same problem on my first grow. I put all this time and energy in my grow just to find out that one of them turned hermie and seeded the entire grow. Well i was just as mad as you are. I did cut them down like a day or two later. Two of the plants only needed a couple more weeks and two was only like 35 days into flowering. But i went ahead and cut them down. The smoke was still excellent on the two older plants. Hell even the buds on the two young plants was good. I only cut them down so i could get another grow started. All in all, i am glad that i cut them down and got my room clean, clean, clean. Now i only have about 4 weeks until i get a full harvest of unseeded bliss. It is your decision to cut down now or wait. If i had it to do over again. I would have still cut them down and got ready for another grow. I also did not keep any of the seeds. It really does take more than just getting seeds from a hermie to have fem seeds. The seed shops usually sale the seeds after like there 4th generation of hermies. It makes it more stable. At least that is the way i get it.

I cut them all down this morning and they are drying out as I write, Spend the rest of the day cleaning and as you said, I broke my ass getting in every where, even the cable were cleaned , walls lights timber frames etc etc... I;m going to move my veg plants in to the grow room and veg there, I can utilize the space better in that room,

cheers for your comments guy's, I feel a little bit better but not much to be honest, 3 months of loving and they do this to me .... Am i a bad father I wonder

No you are not a bad daddy. It happens to the best of them. Every grower will experience it more than once. I am glad that it happened to my first grow because it showed me what to look out for from now on. I like to learn early from mistakes.

HI Blonddie ... I'm seriously hope not, from experience (haha) if you look closely at the bud heads, they will clearly look like they are seeds, very even formed heads with each layer looking exactly the same, i.e seed heads perfectly formed,
I thought they were the bloody bud heads only to discover they were seeds,

I have attached a very bad picture of the little head that I first discovered the seeds, You will notice how many seeds from that little bud, at that rate I'll have millions, 10 fully grow plants, there must be thousands on each,

Also attached is a picture of the 10 hermies drying out.. I'm sick just looking at them!!
