Just chopped some top bud off

Some of my outdoor top bud's hairs were turning mostly orange now and I decided to chop the top ones off. Looking thru my loop I see about 10% amber trichs and 70-80% cloudy trichs. The lower buds still got white pistils and some are just loose and leafy. Here's a pic of the ones I chopped. I was wondering if I chopped it too early? Some outdoor kosher kush

PS Don't worry mine was early but works A1. Hang em & keep air flow, be patient n you will be rewarded greatly for your work. Have a good day

The long white hairs visible in the second pic would indicate you could have waited another week or two, and it probably would have helped with bud density and maximizing the smell and taste. The bottom line is that if this is your first harvest, you did fine and you're probably enjoying some fine smoke so either way you win. Good job and happy smoking bongsmilie
