Nicely done.

Seems like a lot of work, but when you gotta grow, you gotta grow.

They might smell it, but they wont find it.

yea i was considering running the vent from a cooltube under the bottom shelf........ but thats a last resort... ill do my best not to have to resort to that... im considering a 150 vapor tight from econolight for $20 and idk if itll really put off that much heat

with the hps you will for sure have to have a good exhaust. my 150 has a small desk fan blowing on it and and 40cfm bathroom fan for tent exhaust

itll be tricky to get a good air flow without cutting holes in the wall. I mean are you renting?
Good luck im sure stoners are responsible for 2/3 the worlds inventions

yea i have some snitch room mates too
shit thats a deal buster. even if they dont call the PO thats a high risk of them pinchin yo shit.
id maybe rethink the whole 150 hps it maybe more trouble for you than its worth.

this guy is sick with a sea o green cfl grow. might be more up your alley. Cfl's run a lot cooler and if you look at his pics he get one FAT 7g nug from each plant! look at his pic and aybe stay with the CFL's
stupid roomates are ultra sketchy

juz be careful because my flower box with my HPS and bathroom fan is 20x louder than my old CFL flower box. results of HPS look better tho.....
just think they is pros and cons to both ways and if no possible way to run a hps.. maybe CFL's are you new best friend.

(side note: i seen 70w HPS at HD and Lowes. I'd imagine those run much coooler than a 150 and youd get better light penetration than with cfl's!)

Yeah low wattage HPS will be better then CFLs.

The big 43w CFLs get pretty damn warm too!

I would get better airflow, and use a small HPS for sure. 150w wont be a lot of heat. As long as you have some airflow (intake and exhaust) you should be fine.
