The solution is to learn how to roll. However, those rollers with the exposed apron, if overstuffed, can 'pop out' if you try to force it. Don't put so much in there. Also, there are better machines, rizla makes an apron type roller that is as easy as closing the lid. Top and others make the 'injector' type that force the product into premade tubes. But really, learn how to roll with your fingers, maybe make a dip in the middle to make it easier to roll. And play with it enough so that the joint is nicely rounded and compacted before trying to twist it.. Good results can come from a dollar bill, too. The dollar works as the apron to work the herb into a nice shape, then the paper is laid down flat and licked and the dollar bill rolled between your fingers - like holding two pencils with the points touching-and you get a joint.
