Joint keeps going out

So I did a good dry and cure to my harvest. I grew in areo and gave about a week or so on super low nuits then a few days with only water. Dryer for a week and a half and cured for about two weeks now in glass jars. It's got a good feeling and decent flavor to it. However when I joint smoke it the ash is fairly black and it goes out after about every puff. Same thing goes for bowls. The ash never turns white. And will get stuck in the bowl.

What do you think I've done wrong here. I get no snap, crackles so I think I had a good flush. It was grown under a 150w HPS& 105wCFL so it was kinda airy buds. What causes the black ash?

I still being wet may explain why the smell went from strawberry to an anisette-liquoish

As others have said, it's just too wet still. Dump the product into a paper bag for 8 hours or so, then try smoking again. Continue with this process until it smokes the way it should.

even with a good dry it still doesn't keep a joint smouldering... I rolled a j after I left a bud out.. it would keep the ember..I let the j sit out for a day or 2 and still hard going
