From the 28th. I transplanted Motavation to a bigger container because of how big it was getting. My clone is still pretty small.

Well...no huge news or growth. I decided to top my motivation plant this afternoon (first time topping...wish me luck
) Also, my clone is doing really well and I'm planning on getting a bigger grow cabinet soon so I can flower more than one plant at a time.

Well...since my last post I had a rather frustrating setback. In trying to give my plant more room to grow (height) I had my light positioned in a way that wasn't very secure and it fell on top of my plant breaking part of the main stem and some side branches. It also burned some of the leaves and some buds : (
Anyway...there's still a decent amount of bud still growing and I've tied some of the branches up to position them closer the light. I also decided to start flowering Motavation (I topped it a couple weeks back and it's been vegging for 6 weeks or so). Anyway...here comes the picture flood...

This strain is actually from Sativa Seeds. It smells AMAZING. I haven't actually smoked any but it's been an easy grow (up to the point where I stupidly caused my light to fall on it).

For 104 watts of CFL, my buds are looking pretty good!

Yeah man. I've been using four of the same type of bulb for both stages. Started with 4 26w 6500k bulbs for veg and switched out them out when I started flowering for 4 2700k bulbs. I'm hoping to pull at least an ounce and hopefully close to three off of motavation (because my light won't be falling on it).

UPDATE:
I'm going to be harvesting this Sunday. It will have been flowering for about 9.5 weeks and the trichs seem to be a pretty good mix of amber and cloudy. I stopped providing nutrients a week and a half ago so it should be pretty well flushed.

Also...I pulled some buds off a couple of weeks ago that were on the verge of dying and let them dry for a couple of days but, after putting them in a jar for a week they started to have a white powdery substance on them which I think may be mold. Can anyone verify? I'm probably just going to throw it out as I'd rather not smoke any mold.

Well, I know it's been over a month since I last updated but I've got some Motavation still flowering and a young Blue Himilaya Diesel vegging.
Final Yield on my J.H. was about 20 grams which is slightly disappointing (but more than sufficient for my needs). I would say that between the buds I had to cut early (due to some damage from my light falling) I probably ended up with just under an oz.
The cured bud is nice and fragrant and puts off a slightly fruity smell. I wasn't blown away by the smoke (maybe it'll get better with a longer cure). It was very head-trippy and made me feel like everything was pulsating-which I actually really liked. Compared to the Romulan I was able to procure a month ago, JH was much more energetic and mind-altering. I'd give it an overall grade of B (definitely not the best, but FAR from the worst).
Walking into my garage used to be a surreal experience...the smell was incredible. Motavation has been a very, very low-scent grow. It's definitely going to yield alot less than JH (at least that's what it looks like). Lightly rubbing the leaves gives my fingers a slightly hashy, coffee smell. I was always kinda skeptical of the differences between the various cannabis strains but this has definitely reversed my opinion.
Motavation is pretty mature and looks to be done in just a couple of weeks so I'll try and keep this updated. Anyway, I'm still stuck with CFLs for the time being so I'm trying to keep my yield expectations in check.
