So I started growing on the 22nd of this month. I just found out about this site now, its awesome.

I think that my plants have stretched (ALOT)

Also i'm gonna need some opinions/pointers to help me get along..

I've had a small clue on what i'm doing and i seem to be doing something right. cause they did grow afterall, I was using a heating lamp that i used for my lizards but than it broke so now i'm using a standard lightbulb and it seems to be working better. They were placed inside my dresser before but I just moved them into a rockband box lmfao that i worked on to make it hold a lamp and a fan. its workin' pretty good.

Help anyone.

What kind of light are you using?

They are stretching for light..My advice is get some cfl's on their tops ASAP.

Some will say lost hope.. I say veg those, and start germing some others.

My first sprout was like that until I figured out why.

Good luck man

Walmart sells them cheap.

I vegged 4 plants under 6 26watt cfls. Make sure they are the right spectrum (daylight) and dont be confused with the "incandescent equivalent"

I got 2 in a pack for 9 bucks. Total 36 bucks if you get 6.. IMO well worth it if you dont have the spare change for HID.

Get the right adapters, and make sure they are 1-2" from the tops of your plant.:bigjoint:

Get yourself some CFL's and move them fairly close to the lights. I would carefully bury those plants up to the first leaves( the stems could be weak and may break later when weight is applied. Right now your plants are begging for more light( or the right light spectrum). You are trying to create a natural setting much like real sunlight for your plants. Go to 1000bulbs.com or wormsway.com(U.S.) or Walmart for a start! Growing is not a cheap hobby, but i treat it as an investment. If done right it basically pays for itself after the initial cost. I started with a 125-watt bulb which produced 10,500 lumens and a color temperature of 6,400 kelvins. That is basically sunlight in summertime. Not bad though for a nube, remember the more lumens the better!! Happy growing!

you need to get cfl bulbs about 2" away from the plants for them to receive the energy from the bulb place your hand as close as you can to the bulb with out burning hot this is where your plant top needs to be (lower that sucker down) keep an eye on them make sure they dont start to wither on the leaf tips heat stress you will need a better bulb for flowering 12/12 cycle
