Went out to water and found the biggest freakin spider I've ever seen in California.

Turns out it's a female black and yellow Garden Spider. I shit you not, the body was over an 1 1/4" in length and the legs tip to top over 2". I've never seen these anywhere I've lived in California but from what I've read they're fairly common.

Anyone else had one of these in their garden???

That's your new best friend. I haven't seen any that size in my garden this year and I'm jealous. One of nature's control species. I try to make spider's lives comfortable.

I get big praying mantis in my plants and they can stay as long as they like, love those kung-fu fighters!
Love my spidies too, Florida wed get some monster orbs and bananna spiders.
Here in Australia redbacks (like black widows only deadlier) like to hide under pots so Im pretty careful when I move em. Lol had a large wolf spider jump at my face last year when I was examining buds I almost had a heart attack, he can stay lol had to go inside and medicate+

New grower here. I was actually wondering about spiders and plants. I noticed small spiders in some of my plants and I flicked them off.

Are they actually beneficial to have or will their web and spider shit cause mold on buds?

Those wasps are tough, they drag those big tarantulas into a hole after they lay an egg inside em .
