Jerry Brown Opposes Legal Pot Because 'We Need To Stay Alert'

California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) said Sunday that he is not convinced legalizing marijuana is a good idea because the population needs to "stay alert."

"The problem with anything, a certain amount is okay," Brown said on NBC's Meet the Press. "But there is a tendency to go to extremes. And all of a sudden, if there's advertising and legitimacy, how many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation? The world's pretty dangerous, very competitive. I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to put together."

Because we ALL respect jerry's opinion. And, will def take it into account when we are all voting for legalization in 2016. It's coming, and if Jerry doesn't like it he can go suck his mom's dick.

Stay alert for what? Keeping up with the Kardashians? Stay alert for the shitty job you have that doesn't even pay the bills? I don't think Gov Brown understands at all, they legalized narcotic pain relievers, why isn't he harping about that?

Dude, ever wonder why there's no cheese on the cheeseburger you ordered or why you can't understand a fucking word they're saying in the drive thru?

never mind, I just figured out it's because they don't get paid $15 an hour, my bad.

I remember Jerry Brown was one of the first to push for decriminalisation in the late 70's.
Those were the old days when he was fucking Linda Ronstadt.

Even at $15 or $50 an hour, they will still
mess up your order.
Some of those workers are just plain stupid imo.

I'm tired of remaining alert. I'd like to use my preference of sedation and alleviation of ailments, thanks.

And if anyone tries to kill me for doing so, i'll kill ya back! Or front. Whatever.
