Thought I was subbed on this before. Guess I was too high and mis-clicked something. I just went through this entire thread and man let me say. I envy you. Sweet grow, healthy looking plants and great choice with the airpots. I love em. I also realized I'll be doing this same setup in April, except, I'll be in a 2x3x5.25, using a 400w HPS cooltube and switching to DWC buckets for 2 plants. Still gonna use the airpots but idk how many plants I'll be able to fit in that space. Gotta get a nice exhaust fan+carbon scrubber too. How's the stench on your side? Those strains sound potent! What's your highest yield from a single plant in one 2.4 gal airpot?

This is pretty much my first grow. my roommate grew with CFLs last year and I was right there the whole time but now hes in another town and im doing this here. and my next round is in coco and I have learned a lot from this round so I know my yield will increase, though im running different strains next round. we'll see how harvest goes. the stench is heavy. and yummy. i use ONA. works like a charm but I hate using it, i love the smell of the girls lol. I know sour kush is potent and the genetics of jekyll are potent (black domina and flo) and yumbolt is just whatver (freebie) so Im hoping for a nice harvest. I might smoke the buds of sour kush and use jekyll and yum for hash - dry ice and oil. lol we'll see

mmm black domina is soooo good. helps my back pain a lot too. very smooth strain. I know flo is a great dj short variety so that one should be the hammer.

nice! I heard a lot of good things about each strain but I wasnt able to find any other grows of this cross anywhere. it was super easy to grow, started small but blew up big time. thanks for checking it out

thanks! if I can remember correctly, the strain is classified as a 60% indica and 40% sativa hybrid. I think I got a good phenotype that might be a little more indica than 40% (or so Im hoping) and the strain is claimed to have 18% THC. Im sorry but thats all I know until I smoke it haha! I will DEFINITELY let you all know how they all smoke. thanks for stopping by, Germany is awesome! (especially their cars!)

the power went out for an hour or so last night. I thought "damn, maybe they'll ripen up a bit!" and stayed smoking. I figured i'd take some good pics while the lights were off.

F'in SWEET!! What is your lighting right now? Those buds are really nice bro!! Def gonna make me SCRog it..

im back down to just 250w because the other ballast wasnt mine but I think for the next round, instead of getting a 400w and doing 650w combined, i think ill get another 250 and do 500w combined. i dont want to get greedy but I want dual spectrums and two bulbs should compliment scrog in my tent well.

i have been thinking about dual spectrum too might just achieve it with some CFL tho

I was thinking about using a 2 ft. 4 bulb t5 I also have the same 4 bulb in 4 ft. too. Not sure which one I will go with though or if I even should. Are you seeing better results using multiple spectrum's (i.e. blue and red in flower)? I have a digilux bulb so it is supposed to have more blue in it but every bulb has its selling point so I am not sure how accurate that really is.

well since I only have this one grow to base any theories off of, it'd be ignorant of me to say "YES i see the difference using dual spectrums" but I firmly believe that mH definitely aids in the production of trichomes (extra UV) and HPS is great for bulking the buds up. Im not sure how the T5 would affect it. The extra light certainly helps the plants grow more, but i dont think it has any UV output. still, more light = more bud. I dont know much about digilux but I have been looking into Hortilux and also researching ceramic metal halide and wondering what would work best for me.
