My plants are still in veg, so It's been on the back burner. I am considering using just Jack's part A and Raw's cal/mag through flower, and add kelp if it seems they need more nitrogen.

You can get 13-0-0 calcium nitrate instead of the 15-0-0 jacks uses. You can get it in 14-0-0, 15.5-0-0, and 17-0-0 as well. There is also Biomin Calcium 1-0-0 which is an organic product for soil. Comes in a liquid.

I've thought of using 11-0-0 magnesium nitrate 9% Mg instead of calcium nitrate and using Calcium EDTA chelated 9.7% to replace the calcium but that doesn't make much sense unless you really want to lower the nitrogen level. I try and keep things simple and swapping this and adding that just complicates things There are a ton of different combinations that will all perform well.

I've been using this 13-0-0 for years. You can get the same thing online just in a different branded package. It all comes from the same factories. Jacks doesn't make calcium nitrate they just repackage it.

yeah, i bought a kilo of it in bulk off ebay. mine was 15-0-0 and 19% Ca IIRC.

i'm actually using h3ad's formula now since i'm new to coco and wanted a guaranteed coco regimen.

The first week for flower I used 2/2/2/Moab and started to show N toxicity by week 2. Its pretty bad.This is a proven nute ratio for bloom. Did I make a mistake some where? What can I do to save my plants? Why does Jack have such a high N ratio?

The light change caused the flower initiation, not an added nutrient mix. I think that is the only mistake.

How to add MOAB properly is not to add it! At least in your situation where it is your first run with Jack's.

Another reason not to use cannabis specific nutrients. They are notorious for not properly listing ingredients and labeling their products.

Many cannabis growers try and cut out all the N during flower because they don't have a good understanding of plant nutrition and don't realize that N is needed in all stages of the plants growth including flower. A product without any listed N is appealing to those growers.

i've read many posts here and other places that say if you don't cut out N in bloom, you're gonna grow leaves and not buds. i like keeping mine green til chop.
