Jack Herer x3 (feminized) / Critical Jack x1 (auto-fem) : Indoor Cab from Soil

Hey Guys, CritJack here! I'm a complete noob with growing and here's my starting setup:

Grow cab area 2ft x 4 ft x 4ft ( l x w x h ). Started germinating from soil four days ago in complete darkness while maintaing 50% - 60% RH with temps ranging from 27 C (80.6 F) - 29 C (84.2 F). Soil Ph ranges from 6 to 7.

Here's day 1 of my first Jack Herer sprouting from the soil. The initial popping leaves seems to have a yellowish color to it and there's a bit of purple in the middle. Should I be concerned?

Here's a pic with only my supplementary T5 lights on:

Seedling sprout. I put petroleum jelly on the rims of each of the pots. Do you think a film of petroleum jelly is enough to discourage them pesky ants or should there be like generous clumps?

Here's the general layout of the grow I'm working with:

My main lighting is a 300W (not sure of actual draw) 9-band LED Growlight. I placed it around 12" from the base of my sprout and I only turned it on to half of the full powered lights so probably an actual draw of 90 Watts on the low side. "Measured" ( used a phone app. hehe! ) the LUX and went up to 16K to 15K at the given distance from the soil base at half power. Max would go up to the 29-30Ks Lux.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm kind of new to the world of indoor cab growing so be kind. Peace guys! Keep on toking that goodie-good danky-dank! I hope I'll be joining you guys...on the MOON! :blsmoke:bongsmilie:bigjoint:

Looks good man, you should be happy with that Jack Herer, mine sure is one stretchy bitch with lots of bud sites. Nice little setup you got for sure sure! :bigjoint::eyesmoke:

These sprouts once exposed to some light will begin to green up, they look like they literally just popped out of the seed.
Best of luck with the grow I'll be following along. Feel free to stop by my thread and check out my Jack, I'm under LED as well

What the heck kinda dirt is in there? I see a big rock next to that sprout. Tell me thats not from your back yard please. It looks like the drainage is horrible and you want good drainage for any indoor plant.

Nah, bought it from this gardening fair I went to. I don't have the luxury of your fancy shmancy soil and I have to work with what I can find. If you're really bugged about that rock, bro, give me you adress..I'll just send it to you. As for drainage, I already tried draining a pot of this soil already and it drains alright.

Did you consider adding pearlite or vermiculite to the soil?

Here's an update of my grow. The Jacks turned green and the Autofem was a complete no-show. Hehehe!

Here are the Jack Herers:

Here's the first one that sprouted standing at approx 2 inches:
