Also i didn't notice if they opened from the photos i seen online it didn't look like they opened might of got them just in time :) also that plant was right at the back of the tent in the back corner so i can only hope i don't see any
seeds
Hopefully no seeds and I made a post of the snowdog I accidentally forgot to put it in grow journal and put it under led section it's called "blue snowdog xgs grow"

Wassup bro. I see everything is going pretty good. Sorry about the herm looks like the heat stress did it. I would've told you to pluck what you can off and see if any more grows back but you've laid her to rest already so that's can't be done. Next time if that arises again try plucking off the sacs and see if they come back. Lots of time they don't come back and if they do a 2nd run of clones of the herm plant won't show sacs and will be just fine. Sometimes it takes more than a 2nd run to get it not to herm. If it still herms after a few runs of clones then you can let it go to see if the pollen is sterile.

Love the way you planned the new setup. That's basically the same setup I have accept you don't have it recirculating back into the res after it drains. Have you thought about having it recirculate so you don't have to fill the res up so many times. Also this will def help with being able to flush if your scrogging. Everything looks amazing bro keep it up. Don't worry about the herm thing to much it happens to us all eventually just try to keep those temps in check. If you need to get some more fans in there or you may have to get stronger exhaust and intake to help cool it

Hi my bro yeah part from the herm things are going well didn't know you could pick the sacks off will try that next time thanks for the heads up :) that's good info to have with that in the tent it was taking up to much space anyway so it was good to get it out that way the other two get prime light space

I just turn the pots 25% a day to make sure they all get good lighting on all sides heats alot better now

I got my bigger inline fan going didn't think it would help as the room is sealed but it really helped so wish i did it sooner live and learn

also my local grow shop suppler said it's not good to recirculate coco and just run it as a run to waste and thanks to doing that in my last run i noticed a good change in the plants and they yielded better

What i will do now that i am all set up is to up the res so it water last me over a week that why its kind of flushing it and if the run off gets high ill just add more clean water and ph it

I couldn't boost the Jack up on the stand with the legs for my scrog net are short as i cut them down plus the light is at max height and putting in on a stand would have the plant about 6" away from the light and it would be great if i could have it that close but i don't want to risk burns

so i put it on bricks gave it a huge flush with a light feed took 30 gallons of water to bring the ec down to a normal level as it only has 4 weeks left i am not going to flush till the last week

I know next time to make sure i don't leave my pots on the ground was hard work lifting it up and trying to not break any stems from lifting it in the scrog net was a real pain in the ass took me a good hour

shes starting a PK boost on the next feed but only at 1/2 the recommend level for the first feed then ill give it full two days later and make sure she can handle it

i might of been lucky i had the salt build up in a way as the EC was so high and didn't burn... but the plants loved it so green and happy all leaves praying to the light :) always nice to see

anyway ill put some photos up in a few hours

Day 42 - Jack Herer
Day - 23 - Big Bang - Bubblegum
Day - 15 - Vision Seeds - Northern Lights Auto
Day - 15 - World of Seeds Bank - Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto

Good Morning Good Afternoon and Good Night

Thing are coming a long very nicely Jack Herer has tonight just got her last feed with PK13/14 so hopefully she start to fatten up more she was a slow one to fatten up last grow so she should pack it on in the last couple of weeks as most do

She should yield well as the colas are not the biggest have have grown but there is a lot of them should hit the 8+ oz

The bigbang is a beast of a plant and really did well from the mainline training and i can't wait till the jack has finished off so i can move her under her own 600 Watt for the last 3 weeks of her life! should be a good yielding plant

bubblegum as always super fast flowering and smelly as hell she is a great plant and i would be happy to only ever grow her but i enjoy smoking new weed lol so yeah that's the problem

The auto's too a long time to start flowering and are stretchy as they don't get much light and only stuck in the corner when the jack moves out they will get better placement

I don't know whats going on with this grow but it really feels like its taking for ever i think i am spending to much time with them so i can't see much change!

but anyway till next week enjoy your days my brothers and stay green :weed:

Needed to do a big flush on the Big bang and the bubblegum last night as the run off EC was very High drop it back down to 1.6 and on the next feed will take her up to 1.8
i notice there was a little of yellowing on the lower leaves so there must be a bit of a salt build up

I am going to make sure i do a flush once a week or every 2 weeks just to keep the salt build up down i love canna but that shit is salty

apart from that things are going well the Jack is really starting to pack on her weight for the last two weeks very happy with that hoping it keeps it up over the next week so they finish off around the size of a coke can

at the moment they are just a little bigger then red bull can

I don't be leave flushing dose all that much when it comes to taste in my eyes i flushed one jack and one i didn't and they both taste and smoke the same

I start all my food off low then build it up till after the 6 week then just base A/B till finish
some times i flush for 4 days but this time i am just going to keep feeding till i chop her down give her all the nutrients she needs till she tells me shes done

My trouble she is drinking so much around 20 gallons a week the thing is its getting hot and with that comes evaporation witch in turn gives me more of a salt build up

But the thing that i am doing wrong is just cleaning out my res and filling it with full nutrients so this is why my EC is going up i need to start feeding a 1/2 feed every 2nd water so i am not getting all the salt build up and high EC just packing more and more nutrients on top of one and another

how about yourself ...? do you feed till the end or flush ?

So I really don't know. I've been reading and I'm inclined to agree with you. Flushing is counter-intuitive to me. To starve your plant at arguably the most critical time seems insane to me. What I think I have decided to do is to lower the high Nitrogen parts of my feeding (I have 6 components of my nute line) but keep everything else the same. I will focus most of my efforts on controlled slow dry followed by a proper cure.

I've been feeding all 6 parts @50% strength and reduced 2 of the 6 parts to 35%.

I'm super glad to hear you say that you have done a side by side and could not tell.

I'm a little worried that I'm over-analyzing and micro-managing this too much. My fear is that by lowering the two high N portions (Grow and Micro), I might be disrupting the nutrient balance. Any thoughts?

Yeah i think it's all about the drying and curing and your plan sounds good i understand what your talking about maybe if it's not to much of a pain in the ass just try it on one line of your crop with full line all 6 parts @50% strength and reduced 2 of the 6 parts to 35%. And the others all 6 parts @50% strength

I really don't think it would give you to much of a problem as it's not like your cutting 100% out If the others start to look a little odd then just up the strength

I think its good to try new things this is how we all learn how much longer have you got till you need to leave .. ?

My problem is i like to change things all the time and try new things i think it would be best if i just kept doing the same thing over and over till i master it then moving on and try new things i have be come some what obsessed with growing now and i am always thinking of better ways to grow and how to make the most of my grow

it's a great having a hobby i spend a lot of time with the girls looking them over making sure they are okay but some times things are just out of our control and need to stop thinking about it all the time :) but is hard not thinking about something you enjoy

If growing was my full time job i think i would be happy going to work every day

I bought my tickets yesterday and I leave Saturday morning Nov 22 really early and will be flying home the following day so I will only end up being gone for about 40 hours which is great. I hate being away from my family and this also will won't be too disruptive or risky for the grow.

This coming Saturday will be day 56 and I suspect I will be chopping 2 strains....possibly a few more.
Then I will probably have quite a few that will be ready around the 63 day mark and then some that will probably go 70 days.
The day I fly out will be day 63 so I'll wait and see but I will be able to chop the night before I leave if needed and will be back soon enough that I have no risk of them over drying so I feel like I have things covered pretty well.

I hear ya! It's kind of like cooking. You might have a recipe that is really dialed in and tasty but if you never try variations you'll never know if it ever could have been even better.

Yeah that's good news i was working away from home 4 weeks on 1 week off when i was single it was fine but now being away from the family is way to hard so i had to get a local job

40 hours will be fine nothing can really go wrong in that little of time good thing you got all this grow going on keeping the mind busy when hard times come is how us men deal with our problem's

How many seeds are you starting up on the next grow... ?
